Important to know: the world will not be continuous. From the city-hubs you basically zone into "scenes" which are instances that can be anything, from dungeons to hamlets to an outdoors area. As soon as this instance is created it can be entered by friends on your friendslist and I think there is also some matching program that allows likeminded people to enter that instance. I am unsure how many players can be in such an instance at the same time. I never could find a good explanation how, which and how many players cab actually share this instance with you.

I played today for 5 minutes. I walked around the Hamlet which I think are very atmospheric and then looked at some distant sawmills on a hilltop outside of town. And then realized I could never walk there. That was a bummer. Talking to NPC's is fun because you just blabber to them and then you (mostly) get a reaction, including a store-popup and such. No clicking or dialogue trees. Music is nice, old fashioned lutes and such. It certainly has an old school feel to it. No combat yet in this release so there is not much to do now. I just do not like the non-continuous world. I am only in for 30 dollars so no biggie. Will definately play some at release, but I am certainly not going to buy a house for 500+ dollars.

I decided to take the $45 I wasgoingto spend on Pantheon, but pulled my head out of my ass in time, and put it into this game. Keep in mind as Treesong said, this alpha window is super simplistic.

45$ gets you in pre alpha and digtal copy of game at launch, they have Real website,forums these guys do video updates every few days lots of docs plans for tests schedule.

you get your own custom page on site that you can update your package deal if you want etc at any time.

These guys totally have there shit together, they plan to sell copies of the game at launch to.

Please name 1 thing that is funny about rectal cancer?
My surgery is March 07,2014 then 10 days later if I am lucky get to go home with a full stoma for rest of my life, till it heals they cant give the 6 months of chemo planned after surgery.

I have had this game pledged for long time now, along with Star Citizen, Diablo expansion and on the fence about Teso if I will buy the Imperial Version.
Wildstar in closed beta also on fence about there are pros and cons but its not finished so we shall see.

Most of all I cant sit long my rectum ass is so sore hurts to game in chair for any length of time.
