Wtf I thought Apple accessories were supposed to be all good and stuff. Go to plug my iPhone in last night, and it gives me a message that it's not an authorized accessory or something, and may cause problems with my phone. Wtf it's the charger that came with the phone, and it's only been 8 months.

what a piece!!

Is there really no good way on Android to show the battery percentage on the top of the screen without having to show the battery multiple times? Ideally I would simply like the percentage to show on the actual battery, or barring that use one of the apps to show the percentage over to the left. But if I do the latter I would like for it to remove the stock battery icon that is up there, but I don't see a way to do that.

I have looked around and found this app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...overlaypercent) that seems okay, but not great. How do you guys show your battery percentage?

Probably a simple zip file you can install through clockwork mod to change it.

In WebOS there was a simple mod to put % inside the battery icon or next to it- There was similar even back when I had my Evo 4G so I am sure there is one...or just be lazy and put a widget on your homescreen that shows it. BB10 its on the lock screen, peek view and quick actions bar... I belive droid and ios have simlar where its on the quick action/notification drop down / swipe down from top menu.

or use an app like above- but that is kind-of a little work-aroundy for what I am sure and easy mod could do if you have root.

Pretty much the last several versions of android have the % option for battery built in to the normal android options

Settings -> general ->battery. Then at the bottom of the list of your battery usage breakdown there is a checkbox for "Show battery percentage"

Its the same on both my Note 3 and my wifes LG G2, so I don't think that's a manufacturer-specific thing, pretty sure it's an Android option now.

I can't remember for sure, but I think on my tablets the % actually shows IN the battery icon, but on my phones the % is shown next to the battery icon(since the icon isn't big enough on the smaller screens to hold the numbers)

Looks like this on my Note 3

So this is how it was on my S4 as well, but for some reason it is not in the LG Nexus 5.

I found another app that lets you do it be default, but the text is white so you can't even see it half the time.

I may have to root it and play around some more a bit to find something I really like. I am super picky about certain things, and I am finding out that this appears to be one of them.

Holy idle Batman... higher idle than screen?
Yeah, if you notice my battery is still at 93% overall. I think by that point in the day I had used my phone a total of about 30 minutes, with probably 6-7 hours of idle.

Generally speaking, on my Note 3 I lose about 1% of my battery for every hour of idling.

Google never got around to enabling the battery % toggle in AOSP. Better implementations of it usually come from manufacturer skins or custom roms. The circle with % is probably the most common implementation, like I have with Omnirom.

Was that thing made in 2009? 4GB internal storage, 3MP camera, no 4G. That thing looks like it should be roughly $29.99 new at Walmart
