So basically, I can trade in my S7 Edge for $480, which would save me $480 over 24 months. And it'll cost me $490 to pay off my S7 Edge. There's no way some number crunchers at Verizon didn't do that on purpose!

Rootless themes for android will be nice. I've been wanting android to have a dark/AMOLED theme for a long time.
I've been running 8.0 since release and it seems not much has changed since the last developer preview. The update was all of 55 MB or so.
The Pixel XL still has the same bluetooth issues that it had on the developed preview, which is disappointing. Hopefully Google pushes out a fix soon.

I went to Best Buy today to pre-order the Note 8. They're doing a special also. If you purchase any retail version (IE - not the unlocked one), you get $125 off when they send you the bill. You can also get 0% APR for 2 years if you put the phone on a Best Buy credit card.
So I pre-ordered it. I was surprised at the size of the phone. I have a Note 4. The Note 8 is roughly the same thickness as the Note 4, but it's 1/4" narrower. And also seems to be around 3/16" taller. So overall, I still think the Note 4 is larger. But this looks pretty damn good also. I'm going with the 360° Camera option. Then I'll use the $125 extra to purchase the wireless charging pad. Pretty good deal, IMHO. (I already have a 64 gig Micro SD Pro card to put in it, so I don't feel like I'm losing out much with the 128 gig version.

The note 8 is just short (the space between II) of 3 inches wide. It's also a the same size taller than 6 3/8" tall.
The note 4, on the other hand, is about I I larger than 3 inches wide. And only about II taller than 6 inches.
If those sizes make any sense. I'm sure most of you don't understand measurements in the thousandths.
In case you do, the Note 8 is 2.945" wide x 6.398" tall x .338" wide.
Note 4 is 3.094" wide x 6.043" tall x .335" wide.
Guess it isn't as much as it felt like, but seeing the two side by side made it pretty noticeable. This was more like a TV remote control than a phone, if that makes any sense.

300$ trade in with a working device up front off the cost, as well as an additional 150 off. 960 drops to 510.
I don't want bill credits that start in 2 cycles because I upgrade every 12 to 16 months and you lose whatever promo credits you were receiving when you upgrade.
Anyone see a better deal anywhere?
