One time I started sliding on mud and went sideways and my kindle that was on the sun visor flew out the open window and went under the pickup. When I got stopped I went back for it and it was muddy but the tires missed it and no harm done.
Crap does go everywhere in an accident though- I got t-boned by a one legged redneck, but anywho- after I got out and was walking around the car I noticed my back rear window (SUV) was busted... I just figured it was the impact until a little later after I start to get un-dazzed that there is a CRT monitor about half a block away... don't carry around random computer crap! The redneck cop that knew the one legged redneck that hit me said it was a head on collision and my fault for running a red left- if it was a head on crash, my head would not have been on my body due to CRT monitor decapitation!

Also why if you are going to have a beverage in your car, make sure it is in something like an insulated cup with a screw-on lid, or a bottle with a screw-on lid(that you reattach after taking each drink) That drink will go flying and explode EVERYWHERE in any sort of standard fast-food cup/lid or any type of open container.

Having a wreck is bad enough, but ruining all of your clothes and car interior upolstery/leather sucks quite a bit on top of that(because chances are, you aren't going to be in a position to quickly clean up the liquid when dealing with the aftermath of any accident)

When Shelly Tboned a dude a few years back in her Firebird the cds in her visor ended up in the closed compartment in the rear( the little hatch like place to put the ttops) which doesn't even open due to the large ass hatchback when closed.
We still don't know how that happened. Everything in the car was reshuffled.

I was in an accident about 10 years ago driving a cargo van. I tried to dodge a car coming at me in my lane as I crested a hill and I ended upside down on the side of the road. All the cakes, bread and donuts (I worked for a bakery) were all over the place, but my cell phone that had been sitting in the cupholder was on the ceiling right in front of me. Called the local sheriff office hanging upside down while trying to figure out how to release the seat belt without getting a face full of glass.

The best part was learning that the lady who hit me was a waitress from the restaurant that was my next stop. She was driving a car with an expired registration and her license was suspended from a DWI. When I dropped by the sheriff's office the next day to find out if they were issuing any tickets against me (I had dodged left in to the oncoming lane because there was no room on the right) I found out she got an automatic 7 days in jail before they decided whatever else was going to happen.

Some more leaks and rumors are coming out about the Moto Shamu, which is believed to be the Nexus 6:Exclusive: This is s upcoming Nexus 6/X | 9to5Google

Essentially it's looking like its going to be an oversized Moto X with 5.9" QHD display. I hope that isn't the case, as I think that might be a bit too big. The idea of not getting another Nexus when I replace My Nexus 4 next year bothers me though, as I love all the roms it gets.

So I went and preordered the Note 4 from Best Buy tonight. Couldn't pass up the deal on upgrading for $100. They have them on display now in store to play with if you want to check them out. I was actually super impressed with the build of this thing. It is as light as the Note 2 and 3, but feels like it's built like a shit brickhouse. Like you couldn't bend this thing if you wanted to. Feels like it could even take a brutal fall and not break, but I'm sure I'll put a TPU case on it anyways just incase. Sounds like the Note 4 and S5 will be getting Android L in December as well according to recent news, so that's a plus.

If the price is decent I will definitely buy a Nexus X as my first smartphone.

So what kind of condition must those turn in phones be in? My S2 is pretty rough around the edges, literally.

Lady at Best Buy told me that it just has to be working and not have a cracked screen. I have a Bionic and she said that was fine. I read that Samsung is actually putting on the Best Buy promo as well, so Best Buy probably doesn't care what you bring, as it's coming out of Samsung's pocket anyways. Other than that it's probably YMMV based on who you get. Maybe find some young teenager who looks like he doesn't care when you go to pick it up, lol.

Considering making the switch from my iPhone 5s to the Note 4 with that promo. I have no upgrade, but still, $200 off would let me sell the 5S, and basically end up a wash to switch to the Note 4. So at the least, it's working to draw attention. Scared to switch back to Android though. Apple has me brain washed or something.

As a long time Android fan/Apple hater, Ill be the first to admit earlier android phones had a lot of annoying bugs. (force closes, weird sync issues, etc). My s5 rooted and rommed hasnt even needed to have the battery pulled in over 2 months. Running moar 2.0 which is basically a souped up performance version on TouchWiz. I generally prefer stock based roms, but I ran into a lot of sd issues among others when I tried throwing cm11 on it

I guess my point is that android has come a long way, not only with leading the way with innovation, but ive seen barely any glitches in the current batch of 4.3+ high end devices. Note 4 is gonna be a sexy sexy device.

I haven't pulled a battery out of an Android phone due to a lockup/crash in years. Probably not since my original HTC Evo 3+ years ago.

We all get used to one eco system or the other. I think I would go back to Android, and be pleasantly surprised, as it's been 3 years since I bought my last Android device, so obviously the Note 4 would be amazing.

Now to see if I can steal an upgrade from my father in law. He just bought a new dumb phone off Craigslist, so I doubt he'll ever use it. Get me the Note 4 for $100? Yes please.

pretty underwhelmed by the battery performance of the iPhone 6. took it to the gym on a full charge and 90 minutes later it's 60 something percent. better see some performance upgrades out of the coming OS updates or tim cook will be joining jobs in the afterlife.

Have you gone into your settings and looked at which apps are draining your battery? I noticed Facebook was a particularly thirsty app, one nice feature Apple finally imported from the android market. (and some apps are notorious bad like okcupid) so I turned off the background refresh on Facebook. I'm generally getting a full day of use out of my iPhone 6 and that's with heavy usage, and about 15 minutes of car charging a day.

Hear tell that Grindr app goes bananas in gyms. Turn it off.
