I'm not really sure why Altidore being shit in the Prem is surprising, he was pretty young but he already showed at Hull that he can't create on his own. He needed to sign for a team like Everton or Swansea where he could just hold up play and then poach goals. Sunderland is just too shitty for him to do anything.

Losing Azpilicueta and having to play another 30 mins means more than the result. They have Arsenal, Swansea and us to play in a 6 day timeframe, that's huge.

Anfield is going to be rocking, would not want to be Cardiff tomorrow. I'm assuming he's aware of who we are signing, or at least has an idea, in January to get him to do this now instead of waiting for the season to be further along and that we don't drop out of the top 4. We weren't going to sell him in January anyway so there is no real rush.

Wouldn't be surprised if LFC threw in a "sell-abroad" only type of clause either, though I don't know where Madrid thinks they'll be getting another 80m from... maybe selling Di Maria/Benz/Ramos/Casillas or something. 40,000,002 incoming.

Don't forget double check your tv listings as this game is scheduled to start two hours earlier than original start time. Wouldn't want to tune it during the post game!

I don't care if it's only few a few days, it's still great to be flying so high.

That said, another 2 tones performance. Completely dominated first half and could have so many more goals, but then just dropped into lower gear for the 2nd half and Cardiff were in control for long spells and potentially could have nicked something.

I wouldn't say Cardiff were going to knick something even with the one goal. Just think Skrtel needs to spend more time attacking the ball and less wrestling.

All in all it was a solid LFC performance, Suarez amazing again.
