Sturridge was amazing today even with the muffed PK. He has 16g in 18 match this year and 23g in 29pl games total for LFC.

I think it's more like then not that we do add someone this window but I have no clue who it will be.

On the other side of that, if City don't end up double digit league winners I'll be absolutely shocked. Better than Arsenal and Mourinho (LOL at his and Big Sams pressers today btw) by some distance. Don't see any way someone else wins it this season short of City imploding, which seems unlikely.

So Spurs are just 3 points behind Liverpool when Liverpool have a goal difference of 29 and Spurs have a goal difference of -1. That is nothing short of a travesty.

It's more of spurs being insanely lucky to have so many points rather then Liverpool being unfortunate. Liverpool is on pace for 78 points atm.

Spurs were basically handed 9 points at the beginning of the season with some of the worst penalty decisions of the year. I'm not British so I don't really give a shit but I do find it somewhat amazing the shit that LFC and Suarez get in comparison to basically every other club and player when it comes to diving or penalties. After the week of the game in question you never hear anything about Spuds or ManU getting a shit penalty but I still see articles about Suarez's penalty vs. Aston Villa from 2 weeks ago.

Every time I see Big Sam talk his twitter parody account just gets that much better. Fucking hilarious.

And Mourinho really is a shit, someone should fucking punch that pussy right in the face. He plays some of the most negative football on a consistent basis I've ever seen. He has no fucking right to complain about anything.

If I was a United fan and it becomes increasingly apparent 4th is unobtainable I would want to finish 8th or whatever the maximum required position is to miss out on the EL. Take that on the chin and focus on a rebuild in the summer because Europa League football is nothing but a drain. You play on Thursdays which is a glaring disadvantage compared to the CL clubs that play Tues/Weds and you have to go to some of the most backwater shitholes in Eastern Europe.

CL or nothing, period.

Can't stand Mourinho but he certainly knows how to setup a team to be a bitch of shitbags and get a 1-0 result. Certainly makes the title race interesting and LFC's lack of investment in January that much more galling.

I have not seen that match, but I glanced through an article about it and it felt like that 1-0 could have been a 4-3, so not really a case of an impregnable defense scoring on one of its three counter-attack.

I'm pretty sure Brando didn't watch the match either. Chelsea didn't park the bus or play like shitbags in any sense*. They played aggressively, tight and fast with an emphasis on overloading on counter attacks. It was great fun to watch. Demichelis looked like the worst player on the planet, lumbering around while quick Chelsea players outpaced him.


*Apart from Wilian taking 10 minutes to walk off the pitch when subbed in overtime.
