With Beckham and now Rooney, UTD have a history of having an overhyped player getting all the passes and therefore scoring goals.

I think Moyes knows the game is up, his post match comments are just hilariously bad. He played an Everton team starting 8 of 11 players from his own team last year yet he was clueless on how to play them? I just don't understand but as an LFC fan this keeps getting better and better.

As far as Rooney, they'll be regretting that new contract as early as next time this year. He's getting fatter and less and less influential on games. Going to be a completely immovable player on those wages which will just be going straight down the shitter. He in no way should be starting for England over Sturridge or Sterling but watch it happen. The fact that Wilshire is still going to make the England team just says it all, he's been horrible for basically 2 years..

Not that England was ever in for this years cup, but this time it seems they dont even want to try.
Well they are basically traveling Brazil for the booze and the bums this summer.

Virtually every major UK paper has just announced that Moyes is to be sacked - clearly they were all briefed at the same time lol.

gotta fucking love it. Being sacked a couple of games before the end of season. It's like ManU saying, get the fuck out, NOW.

Gutted. Thought Moyes was doing a great job.

On the bright side Bruce is one of the favorites to take over. Frying pan, fire etc.

Being serious for a moment Manc fans need to face up to the fact Whisky Nose was good for 10 point a year through sheer intimidation of linesmen and referees. That team, Rooney apart, is pretty much where it should be in the table. They need to spend a fortune and every transfer they make that isn't a major success just further sets them back.

Liverpool, Everton, Man City and Man United are all within a 20 mile radius which makes their double defeats to these teams even worse. Also in this area we have Wigan and Bolton who were relegated recently so at least they are not the worst team here.

LOL, do they think Moyes is going to resign? The Glazers are a bunch of cheap fucks so it wouldn't surprise me if they expect him to do so but what moron would do that? I can't believe Moyes is that dumb but anything is possible.

I really thought he did an amazing job this year. I was hoping he would get a revised contract.

Nah, I'm one of the few who still praises the squad and their abilities. Certainly a better squad than Tottenham or Everton. Most of the problems stem from Moyes & his staff - he's taken the team that outscored everyone last season and so far has erased 30 goals (United scored 86 last, currently on 56). You can claim a team is under performing up front when they create chances and can't score, but Moyes teams rarely create chances in the first place. He's managed to do that with his set ups and tactics - every month was a new tactical disaster. You mention Rooney, well personally for me he should have featured less. For example at Everton, the match screamed for someone like Welbeck or Chicarito to be stretching the forward play and that's exactly what Rooney wasn't doing.
A few signings that beef up the back line, a midfielder is always welcome and a new face somewhere, anywhere. And probably a new young forward considering the previous Welbeck & Chicarito have both signalled for departure.. which in itself is maddening - I love those two. I just hope Moyes doesn't do more damage in the transfer window before his time is up.
