The Sad Ballad Of The Short-Lived @TotallyManU

HAHAHA, this is literally one of the funniest fucking things I've ever read in my life. I'm genuinely bent over the desk laughing at this right now. Ahhhh twitter, you're always good for a laugh. The instagram party thing made my day.

For Balo, if he wasn't lazy as shit he "could be" one of the 5 best strikers in Europe. He has talent out the ass, but doesn't have the drive to be a great player. That could change, but he's a totally different animal to Suarez not just in talent, but in commitment focus and drive. He'll be either a smashing success, or an unmitigated disaster - but he'll be fun to watch either way.

Between this and the Scholes article it just keeps getting better and better for anybody not a ManU fan, hilarious.

Again with Balotelli, just depends on how much he wants it. Nobody can deny his talent, just his commitment to playing for whatever team he is currently on. When you consider how much Shane Long cost or how much Sunderland want to play for Borini this seems like a no brainer though.

Balotelli was pretty average at AC Milan and fans are happy to see him go. He doesn't cost much, but I think that this will be a waste of ?16 million.

If 30 goals in 54 games is average then what is above average? It could certainly turn into a waste of money and that goes for any transfer, but considering what you just paid for Rojo + Nani's wages to play at Sporting then I'd say it's pretty shrewd by LFC. The Milan forums I looked at seem to be pretty pissed about him moving on for the same or less than what they paid and they have nobody but a 30 year old has been to replace him. Redcafe seems pretty pissed about this so I'm not sure what you're smoking.

I'm surprised Arsenal weren't in for him if the price of 16m is true. In today's market that is an absolute steal. I think with Arsene's guidance he would turn him into a top top player.

Edit - I wonder if Stevie G is still going to be the go to penalty taker? I don't think Balotelli missed one when he was at City.

Looks like Liverpool are on track to be the most entertaining team of the year again!

Wenger already came out and said that Balotelli was unmanageable, so there's that.

Until he puts on the red shirt and plays there is no real way to know what is going to happen. Until then I'm going to trust Rodgers knows what he is doing, he has been pretty good with that so far.

Balotelli is a good player, especially for 16mil.

Is it worth it for the bad effect he has on the dressing room during his strops, or his laziness? Maybe.

Is it worth it for the drama and lols? Definatly.

It is worth it if he is doing his clown show at another club, but not the one you support. I got sick and tired of it after a few months when he was at City. And his discipline was the worst of the lot. Most memorable being that disgusting challenge that could have very easily broken that Arsenal players leg in half ( which he didn't even get a yellow for, let alone a red, but got sent off later in the 2nd half that made up for it ) in the title run in of 11/12.

This is a pretty good example of his attitude at times.

That shit was awesome. I love how the commentators kept going on about how disrespectful it was, when it was just playing the LA Galaxy, in a pre season friendly, purely for money.

Maybe Arse will turn this around but they look like last year and will get the shit bullied out of them by the other top sides. Better hope they win all the games vs. teams 8-20 or just getting 4th will be a struggle again.

Nice fight back by Arse but I'd blame Everton more than credit Arse for the draw, they had it all in their hands and just went into a shell. Ozil was woeful.

Great draw, after started desperately poor. Liked the look of Campbell when he came on - Everton have no excuse for throwing that away - most of their players have been home resting all summer and Arsenal were on the back of a shit game in Turkey (not that that excuses Arsenals shit play - but Everton you'd think would have been fresher/fitter). Ox got into some good positions but his decision making when getting the ball was poor and had some terrible shots.

Looks like Manc are going to sign Di Maria - cracking player, wonder how long he'll take to adapt. Madrid are a truly detestable side.

No matter how good Di Maria is the signing itself makes absolutely no sense unless LvG is already going to trash the 3-5-2 or he's going to sit one of Mata/Rooney when RvP is fit. I guess he could turn him into a wing back but for the amount of money they're about to spend that would be hilarious. Redcafe seems to think he could sit next to Herrera in the 3-5-2 but that's just crazy talk, that mid would be overrun by every other top side in the league.
