At the risk of bringing up the Suarez saga all over again, the above video shows the sort of shit I think it far worse and deserving of the sort of ban that he got. Pretty clear it's premeditated since he's waiting in the tunnel for the guy after the game then runs off like a chicken shit afterwards. Probably should have went with the booze instead of coffee as the whole second half I was just bouncing off the wall. Southampton a bit unlucky but fuck it, nobody is going to give back the 3 points. Skrtel was getting beat on the ground all day and Lucas was just ball watching half the time, the game changed once Allen came on.
Massive performance from Henderson today. He's another one that lives just around the corner from me. Don't know if I've recounted this story before but just after we bought him I bumped into him after one of our games against Everton in the local garage. I was bladdered and called him Stewart Henderson (we bought Downing at the same time). I told him then he'd have a couple of seasons out of position and would only come good once Stevie was fading a bit as they play in the same spaces.

Our worst performances last year were with Lucas and Gerrard in partnership and I'd have to say Rodgers got it wrong again by starting them together. They're just too immobile together and while I think Ward-Prowse is good and going to get better, they were making him look all world with the space in between the lines. It also shuttled Hendo out wide which isn't his strong suit, just really odd by Rodgers considering how we played in pre-season and hopefully he doesn't repeat this.

Johnson you can slate all you want, I'm hoping 'Arry makes a stupid bid for him on the 30th as QPR would pay his wages. Pretty sure you know nothing of football if you're going to slate Lovren though, I don't think he put a foot wrong all game. The goal was Lucas's fault as he just watched Clyne and the ball instead of following the runner.
Edit: LOL, new contract for Cleverleh? I guess I can see why you would slate Lovren if you're supporting a team that views his talents as worthy of an extension and raise.

I thought Manquillo was excellent as well, Southampton clearly were targetting him and Tadic eventually gave up and switched to the right against Johnson. Between Flanno/Manquillo I think our right side will be fine, now to see about Moreno on the left.

The whole team was awful against Hull away or Southampton at home which those results are equal in costing LFC the title last year. I think LFC has lost 1 game in all of 2014 which was Chelsea at home, which again wasn't a defending issue more Gerrard falling over. I'm not saying our defending is stellar, but I don't think it needs to be mid 2000's chelsea if you can score a shit load. Real's defense is pretty suspect as well, didn't stop them from winning the CL last year or being favored this year. Same as Bayern.
