Unlike the Simpsons that went to total shit, I've been enjoying the later seasons of South Park. I agree, I liked the continuity of the last season.

I guess it's easier to produce quality content when you make 10 episodes a year rather than 25 or w/e shows like simpsons does. So much tv to watch any way so I don't really mind!

At this point they HAVE to just be having some silly game like that. Even Hank Azaria walked away.
