I dunno AEW isn’t flawless by any means, but it’s still fun. I wish we would see Matt Hardy end up being The Exalted One but I’m sure Brody Lee will do well with it.

Of course it isn't flawless. Neither was Attitude Era or the Monday Night Wars. But, just like AEW, they were fuckin' fun.

WWE's largest problem is that they don't know wtf they want to be and they are caught in this weird, oscillating pattern. Thankfully, they've really started to back the hell off of the kiddie bullshit like Bailey's old schtick, New Day, etc.

WWE feels like it just has a bunch of people who are just happy to be there and follow the script, if anyone feels different they don't have the authority to overrule the writers/vince so it doesn't matter anyway and you get depressed seeing their misery from being stuck there.

AEW feels like the wrestlers came up with the gimmicks and put their best into it, which since most of the gimmicks predate AEW, must be true.

Compare all the interchangeable WWE cruiserweights to Darby Allin, Jungle Boy and Sammy Guevara. Even Kip Sabian who doesn't feel like he's clicked yet and had his PPV match dropped to AEW Dark, has more character than Ricochet whose had loads of screentime.

my biggest pet peeve with AEW is the lack of consistency with officiating, this is very evident in tag team matches. They either need to have consistent enforcement of rules for every match or just do away with them. As much as I loved the Bucks v Hangman/Omega match...the official being involved in that match made no sense because they did nothing.

And yeah its fake, blah blah blah, but this sorta thing hurts the product more than it helps it.

I’ve said this before, but when creative let’s it happen, few can sell better than Brock. All the hate he gets isn’t really fair.

The hate Brock gets is actually hate towards Vince for using part timers to sell PPV nowadays.

it’s part of what makes me the ricochet match at super showdown so annoying, they both coulda made that a match of the year if they had been allowed.

My headcanon is that they are waiting to get The Revival managed by Jim Cornette to come in and make the tag team rules into a storyline.

This. Brock is fine and other than some pretty massive botches, he's mostly hated because of Vince's insistence on letting part-timers hold the belt for long periods.

While I'll be bummed to see The Revival leave (because I love their name) I wish WWE would just grant them their release if they aren't going to use them. Both are fighting over copyrights now and just to be dicks they'll probably just pay them to sit at home for the next some months until Wilders contract is up.

Up until a few days ago it seemed like Brody Lee was going to be The Exalted one, but now that Matt Hardy announced he let his contract expire and this post from AEW on social media

I'm super pumped at the prospects of that storyline even more than I was originally.

Some how both being part of it would be amazing.
