Kind of crazy the Dark Order is still a thing. They kind of flopped on arrival but then shifted to being a vehicle for Brodie Lee and it was working great. A bunch of losers who banded together under a leadership and started winning. They weren’t full heels but did the bidding of Brodie who was a top heel. They got over and then sadly Brodie died and left the group without direction. They really pivoted by becoming the lovable losers trying to be friends with Hangman and got over huge, then with him taking time off they had to make this “we don’t have a true leader now we are splintering” angle and I hope that it’s at an end. They have a lot of different iterations going at once so I’m not sure how long they can last without a change

They need direction, they can't just stay in stasis because of Brodie.

I want to see Hangman and Bray Wyatt split the group into heel/face factions and both sides try and win over -1, ending with a -1 on a pole match.

That’s quality TV. If that was the case Ubo and Stu and Colt and Anna would go with bray as a darker team of veterans. 5,10, silver abd Reynolds with hangman. That could be a baller return for Hangman, shows up to save his buddies.

Tonys just going to keep hiring more and more oldies and those guys are just gonna get more and more buried lol
RIP

I think eventually they will add an hour to fridays. So now it’s two shows that are 2 hours each.

I know it’s not much but I think it will help.

Plus trios tag belts.

It’s not much but it’s more.

I was never a DB fan in WWE. But for whatever reason I enjoy watching him as BD in AEW. He puts on a show.

I miss Bray and KO…athletic fat guys are great

I feel like you wanna split Silver and Reynolds because Reynolds is the least over in the whole group but I think he has potential. Getting Reynolds over in a betrayal would be a secondary priority behind elevating Hangman.

Uno I think would be the one to bring Bray in, perhaps he didn't want to help Hangman to take him out because he thought the group was slipping away from him, not out of a sense of honour.

10 has to go with -1 because he's seemingly close to the family.

Anna I'm not sure, having her and Tay Conti split is too similar to Silver/Reynolds and Tay is clearly a face.

Colt Cabana can be brainwashed by Bray which is where the Brodie/Colt story seemed to be going. Also lets have Bray be closer to his firefly funhouse person with an angry side that can come out, but not supernatural.

So:

Hangman: Silver, 10, 5, Anna
Bray: Reynolds, Uno, Grayson, Colt Cabana

I think NOT having heel Dark Order people makes the group totally incoherent with their initial iteration and the Brodie iteration.

Ugh, I have no idea how Hangman got so over. A dude like Cassidy is just such a better character/personality. Hangman's whole schtick is a "country" Stone Cold but without any of the attitude. He's like CM Punk to me in that I just don't get the appeal.

Well im glad im not the only one that does not at all understand how CM Spunk is so over either.
The comparison of Punk vs Darby to DB vs Omega was fucking nuclear levels of difference in ability lmao, Punk can use a mic but beyond that i dont see why people like him so much?

I guess people just really liked his pipebomb speech and hang onto that?

Anyway, i forgot about the matches last night and missed the show ;( i'll have to go back and watch the ladder and shida matches

People like to root for an underdog and the WWE really took a dump on him. IIRC he was WWE champ for two Wrestlemanias and didn't headline either one.

Mic skills can make up for a LOT - see Hogan and Flair. But, Punk and Hangman don't really have mic skills either IMO. Punk is better in that department, but still not even close to people like Jericho.

That is one area I'd still probably say WWE might have an advantage. Outside of Omega and Jericho, AEW's talent is pretty dogshit on the mic.

MJF is the best guy they have on the mic by far.

It's a glaring difference between the WWE and AEW because AEW doesn't use scripts for promo's. The guys with natural talent will shine more than the ones that don't. I believe it's one of the reasons why AEW is a manager heavy promotion.

There was a script that got leaked not that long ago for I think Smackdown the WWE product is written like any other tv show now. Every single thing was written out including every line of dialogue plus stage direction and the emotion the scene should have and all that.

I can agree MJF is definitely the better one on the mic lol
good point on the underdog though, that makes a lot more sense

I doubt anybody follows Stardom but I'm hype for hazuki unretiring and debuting again tomorrow night, that girl could work and sell like a damn demon

Wrestling is so much better when they leave them alone and let them say whatever. Shit one of the best off the cuff shit was miz on daniel Bryan on talking smack. I tuned in for weeks to see how that would develop.

So fucking funny when the crowd booed over Lambert's entire segment, Jericho picks up the mic and said, "I didn't hear a damn word you just said!". AEW crowds are the best.

I haven't watched it yet but in my head I can hear exactly how Jericho says that. When I get some time I'll watch the show.

Brodie's son is living the DREAM life for any kid who is into wrestling. Yeah she's totally forcing him to do any of it haha.

As I recall, Punk didn't main event ANY shows as champion outside of like, one or two when he was facing top guys. He might have main evented that first Survivor Series against Del Rio, and he definitely main evented against The Rock when he finally lost the title. In between he like never main evented. They sure did take a dump on him. I've never seen the WWE champion get treated that poorly. WM28 was probably the most excited I've ever been for a WWE show and it gave us Bryan losing his title in a few seconds and Punk not main eventing. It was also in the middle of the "intercontinental champs get pinned every week" era. I remember liking WWE a lot less the day after WM28 and it never quite recovered. Pile onto that the Bryan stuff, then RR 14 and 15, and I was donezo the rest of the way.

A lot of negative anti-AEW people online have gotten so desperate to find anything wrong with the company that they're resorting to some pretty stupid avenues of attack at this point.

I don't normally do butt stuff, but I would absolutely bury my face in all of Skye Blue's nether-regions
