Things are going to get even more interesting now.
Man, everything they do to show up AEW seems to backfire. Obviously the overall ratings for the 8-10:30 show were higher than the 10-11 show. However the head-to-head numbers are the only thing that matters in the context of this battle. Don't really care what Rampage did in its unopposed half hour, same for Smackdown's unopposed two hours. Even if Smackdown ends up with a higher overall number for the head-to-head, AEW wins the demo yet again.
WWE of course has the caveat that Smackdown was on cable rather than network. The same thing is happening next week I believe, so it'll be interesting to see if they try to compete again.
