I really don't think the Rock is going to be available.
Its looking like cody vs cena and reigns vs punk is the plan.

Cena winning the rumble really works to the whole idea of bringing in new fans from outside wrestling, like they obviously tried with the first netflix raw.
also: Cena wins LOL, Charlotte wins LOL

Tag match was meh at best

womens rumble was decent for a bit and fell off a cliff.

Chelsea is by far the best performer they have in terms of character and gimmick. Rocking body butter face

This mixes up what I figured mania would be.

Assumed Cena would win and face Gunther to winnnunber 17
Punk heel turn to win chamber via Romans help then faces Cody
reigns vs rollins

but now with what setup from tonight we likely get

Still punk and Cody - punk wins and has a heel run and gets his main event
Jey Vs Gunther 2 - makes Jey Raw top guy since he’s over like Rover and sells merch
Roman vs Rollins
Charlotte vs Rhea 3
TBD vs Tiffy

But I figured Cena would have a top match, so maybe he has his last mania match with Randy Orton who is with Pubk and edge the greatest opponents he had storyline wise

In all honesty, I think Cena makes a run at Joe Hendry. If thats not the plan, it should be and having Hendry eliminate Cena woulda been a great kick off to it.

Rumble was okay, I don't think anyone has Jey winning, so it's a neat swerve but I'm not really interested in seeing the build between what I assume will be him and Gunther

Probably Cena vs Logan Paul, shitty as it is for mania.
After that Cena starts his road to the 17th world title, one way or another.

Edit: but man... Jey won the rumble! thats wild, two years ago he was just a twin, now he is on pace to main event a wrestlemania!

I heard of him but hadn’t seen him until last night. Amazing how the crowd reacted to him. Clearly they seen him before. The crowds are knowledgeable about todays wrestling outside of wwe. Just shows.

maybe punk vs. Rollins at mania? Wasn’t it supposed to occur last year until punk was injured?

Punk, Rollins, Reigns triple threat? Nobody wants to see Rollins vs Reigns or either of them against Cody again surely? Punk vs Rollins is another tired matchup. I was watching at 3am so may be remembering wrong, but all three of them were brawling after they got eliminated?

Obvious matches seem to be Priest vs McIntyre and Owens vs Zayn.

I guess Cody is going to face John Cena? The story is his 17th and final title and Gunther seems locked in for Jey Uso.

Unless they work out some kind of angle at Elimination chamber where there isnt a clear winner to go against Cody and with the favor owed to Punk and the Reigns Rollins Punk triangle they end up going Cody vs Roman vs Rollins vs Punk. They wouldnt push the story of punk wanting his main event and then stick him in a non title 3 way semi main event

Also Cena is going to have to have a BIG match. So I could see cody vs Cena.

But this is pretty much putting Jey vs Gunther? to main event one night? They just fought like a couple of weeks ago and Jey lost.
I think they are brewing something a little more interesting than that.
