Yeah, it was cool seeing the finished product. Need to slow it down later and see if I'm in any of the shots. Glad they left the Colonel Sanders chant in.
As for SummerSlam, it had a few amazing matches and a few snoozefests. I loved Suplex City when it happened, but after 2 years of the same match, I'm ready for that to go away now.

I was at Chicago Comic-con over the weekend. I sat in on Becky Lynch and Dean Ambrose's panels. Dean said his dream NXT match would be with Samoa Joe. I instantly ejaculated and threw a wad of $20's at him.

Nah. Well 95% of it was a work.
The Miz is underrated. Might be one of those so underrated he's overrated. Uh huh. That dude has transformed himself into the essence of a heel and his mic skills are on par with the BEST in the WWE atm. When they need to get a (face) guy over Miz is the guy. There is a reason he is the IC champ because he can effectively use it to get guys over. It wasn't an accident that he was used as the first real feud with AJ post Rumble.
My appreciation of his gimmick has gone up exponentially over time. 90% of the roster would benefit from spending one week listening to this guy work. Like someone said, Talking Smack is better than any third hour of RAW. It basically IS the third hour of Smackdown. Look there was 5% genuine anger there. This guy headlined two WMs. He's held multiple titles and the company loves him. He doesn't have the Orton body or the high flying Indy cred. He worked himself from MTV shows to developmental (old NXT days) and earned his way.
His problem is look at the recent feuds. Darren Young and Apollo Crews? Come on those are NOT what you think of IC workhorses - not yet anyways. He is right, the company needs to take it back to it's roots. He should be feuding here with the best workers but the problem is the roster with the split doesn't have enough on SM to do that. It's a catch 22 though right? Normally AJ, Dean, and Dolph at their size would be competing for the IC back in the day. With that level of talent the IC through sheer talent was elevated.
But there isn't enough top talent to sustain 4-6 guys at the WW championship level and they are left with lower card talent fighting for mid card spots.
Anyways. Love the Miz, appreciate the workhorse that he is.

Holy shit. I don't know about 5%...I'm putting it more at 40%. For the record, I like Miz too...I think Mizdow might have been when I started appreciating him, but I think Bryan struck a real nerve. I think they were just supposed to talk about the IC title, but Bryan calling him soft and that he wrestles like a coward was off-script and his real feelings on Miz. So Miz strikes back with the injury stuff, which to be honest, he has a point. How many times was a title vacated before a few years ago? Shawn Michaels did it and it was a HUGE deal. Now it seems to happen twice per year.
It's possible that was totally planned, but I've never seen Miz get that red and Renee looked legitimately uncomfortable. Maryse just looked bored, but she probably tells Miz all that stuff every night anyway.
