Nerawareta Gakuen was such a beautiful movie. And I dont know why but it reminded me a lot of Spirited Away, in the best sense. This group has a torrent of the movie if you are interrested:gg

On a related topic: i cant believe how much in love i am with Railgun. Definitely the winner of this season.

Bit of a surprise there for me. Started of quite well, and then dropped to sucks-beyond-belief-level and then actually recover from that low to an enjoyable last few episodes. definitely going to watch again in october.

Have you watched Index ? I am finding railgun a little distracting, given it's mostly a recap of stuff that already happened, mixed with stuff misaka did that had no impact on the resolution.

Misaka is a boring protagonist surrounded by better characters. I consistently find myself saying "alright, back to more Touma and 10032". I've already seen their parts several times before from Index, but find them a lot more interesting than Misaka.

started watching index, but only the first few episodes so far. couldnt say if i like it yet. i thought the magic stuff didnt fit in with the other psych powers i've seen in railgun so far (and i rather disliked the incantations).

Gargantia ended up pretty good, I enjoyed it. I kept waiting for Gen to just be a TOTAL FUCKING DICK in the last ep though and unfairly kill the fuck out of some people. I'm glad it ended how it did, as much as I enjoy his usual no-happy-endings stuff. I wouldn't mind seeing another season or two of this series for sure.

Was completely expecting Amy to get vaporized by Striker when she was derping along near the fight. Would have been bloody hilarious.

Good ending to the series, something short anime rarely succeed at doing due to blatant second-season whoring.
