Gargantia Ep 9: Yep, this was fucking made by Urobuchi Gen.

God fucking dammit, Gen.
A Gen show is like a Fedor spoiler - kitten, kitten, hot chick, kitten, ohmygodwhatthefuckman.

Heh, I like Chamber - 'yep, totally propaganda, don't believe that shit' ;p

I actually really like Bio vs Mechanical Sci Fi stories. Very few writers explore them.

Yea I've been enjoying the remake of HxH as well. Some people may be turned off because of the character designs but the story is very good and really makes the show worth watching.

The 1st thing I thought was that also.

Chamber was like "This is obviously some bullshit...nothing to see here, move along."

I just really love anime...

This will blow minds IF he ever gets back to the fleet.

Gargantia: Blah I should have seen that coming. Of course the Galatic Fleet knew the truth about the Hideauze.

I actually like Chamber's assessment about the Hizaudue: Number of fucks given=0. The machine is right, they are a hostile species that are not human anymore. Just because they were human hundreds, maybe even thousands of years ago doesn't matter. Especially since in the video's it seemed like the humans were trying to escape and the little pricks followed them for no reason other than to continue the war. (I say no reason because it's evident the Hizaedeu can adapt to anywhere. I imagine living in space around the sun vs living in space around star number X is essentially the same. Also Tech>Bio.)

I can see where the arc is headed now though in the story. The Commander is going to try to eliminate the weak/disabled little brother and Ledo is going to lose his shit.

gargantia would be so much better if in the next episode it had... chamber to ledo, you're a stupid human, i can't let myself and programming be piloted by an idiot anymore, i mean does anyone think that chamber is a better character than ledo?

They didn't know that the ocean adapation would work to survive the cataclysm at that time - the tech faction were allegedly going to piss off through the gate and blow it up once they left, leaving them all trapped on earth to be potentially wiped out. Not exactly angels, but it wasn't entirely unreasonable.

My question for it would be what's Chamber going to do once Ledo looses his shit over the Commander having him go after Gargantia. Some sort of fall out has to be incoming and "hard" choices must be made!

I was thinking along the lines of the fact that they could already survive in space. Space around the sun seems just as good as space anywhere else. So why follow the humans into deep space? There was no reason except to continue to war (And to mooch of the obvious superiority of tech travel vs bio.)

I'm enjoying Mushibugyo quite a bit, even though it's nothing special. Does anyone know if it is continuing into the summer?

Well that wasnt the last episode, and it didnt seem like the next would be the last - i still think hes a total pussy but atleast the surprise that happened was half decent. I hate shows with protagonist who have an IQ less than 50
