I'm actually pretty excited about this probably more than any other show that's coming out, not that I watch or keep up with that many series. How I watch a lot of independent horror films and what have you, but getting invested into a TV show is one of the things I have a hard time to do it now, considering you'll never know whether or not it's going to be completed, and then you just left pissing in the wind.
Like the fact that the first one was pretty self-contained, and I'd have that perfect ending of leaving it open ended, but you still got conclusion. Been watching a bunch of Korean movies lately, so that might be part of it. Finally I think I just appreciate the fact that they aren't woke, and despite the fact I'm not Korean, don't have their language, I guess I can relate to the characters in a lot of these movies a hell of a lot more than shit you see from Hollywood.

So after nooong out on this when it came out , I decided to give a second run. It definitely improves after episode one. Overall, glad I ended up coming back and watching it.
One thought ran through my head at the end. What would have happened if hot chick doesn't get ganked right before the final game? How do they handle an odd number of players in game six?

Wasn't really a fan, still fresh so I'll spoiler I suppose.
I finished it and felt like I kinda wasted 7 hours.
I liked the first, and it was amazing for the investment you had in characters and stuff as you then said bye to them and all of the shock and unflinching trauma it put in front of your eyeballs.
This season I cared about nobody, and the main guy's plot armor was so thick he might as well been physically been wearing it. The twists and turns of the season all seemed so telegraphed and predictable.
It feels like an incomplete season the way it ends. Season 3 is coming, and it's the finale for the series, but this felt like Season 2 part 1.
Think this has a Matrix problem, the concept and initial story were great in the moment. Expanding that to give us more installments is a combination of too much of a good thing and giving you the rope to hang yourself and make it not good.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with the spoilers. I enjoyed it, but not as much as the first.
Anyway, while watching I was wondering....has anyone ever made a good single-player "Survivor" or "Squid Game" type of video game? Even a Telltale type of gameplay would be cool.

I would recommend not watching Season 2 until season 3 comes out.
I am really not liking shows that decide to split seasons like this. It is unfinished. They cut it right at the end of an event before the games are even concluded. Season one was complete, in that the main person survived and the games were finished. This one does not end in the same fashion. The games are not finished. I was enjoying most of it. Had I known it was going to pull a 1923, I would have not bothered with it.

The acting this season has dialed up the stereotypical “Asian acting” at least they aren’t doing anime hand gestures
It’s like they are trying to prove they can act and are dramatic but it’s pushing into I don’t fucking care get to the games
And as far as I’m concerned there was 3 trannies this season cause I can’t fucking tell the difference

So you're trying to tell me that when they were running forward in the red light green light game, they don't do the stupid anime cartoon for kids with their arms backwards run? I don't know what God damn show that is but I know it's a meme.

Over the top physical acting was given to the “Thanos” character and I put that in quotes cause I left that off for ridicule but might as well now

Acolyte dude did do over the top voice dramatic acting for the red light green light which was kind of ok but he kept going on and on as such most them go on and on which is why I call it over the top “Asian” acting
