The only good thing in this season was the bad guy keeping it moderately interesting. I don't get why they built up 011 as being some rogue agent, only to not have her in the last 2 or 3 episodes?

I don't think this season had a single interesting character either, all of them were pretty insufferable; specifically the fucking shaman woman and the son/mom duo

Unless "season 3" comes out by summer at the latest this will tank like Invincible did lol

The special forces tranny is the tip of the woke iceberg. Like that thing would have made it through any type of selection process. I guess it could have transformed after service but that'd be 1 in a million. So of course they needed to add it's filth and degenerance to this

In 2024 transgendered people are the pinnacle of the "privilege flaw budget" where the most privilege the woke crew thinks your intersectionality has, the more flaws your character is allowed. Thus, the person who is trans is a genius super soldier with perfect emotional stability who makes flawless decisions and can produce a rousing speech to motivate everyone around them at any time.

I mean the entire reason they were there was to get money to have the surgery they wanted, so yea I am going to say they were male while in Special Forces. It was almost like it was the point of the other players reactions to the character, it was an obvious dude in a wig that the other people just thought they had a personality disorder and were being "Korean Polite" other then Grandma. When it turns out they were Special Forces they dont treat them as a hero they treat them like a normal person.

Yes its "woke", yes it was handled poorly dubbed, no you shouldn't watch this show dubbed, in the dubs they use a female voice, in Korean its a dude and it makes the character make more sense.

In multiple languages too. Netflix handles the dubbing on their own separate to the show's creator, I read somewhere people were surprised the Thai dubbing used a woman's voice as well as it was atypical.

I'll watch the 2nd half of the season when it releases, but I just realized that it's going to be all "real world" stuff, which is the weakest part of the show. The games, puzzles, and alliances were the interesting parts for me. If they had just re-done the Season 1 formula with different characters and games (after the first game which should always be the first one)...I probably would have watched multiple seasons of it. Then have the winners find each other and come after them...or hell, do a Squid Games of Champions...although that doesn't fit the backstory they're trying to create. Whatever. They caught lightning in a bottle by accident and, as so often happens, they don't understand what worked about their own creation.

About halfway in it becomes the tranny savior hour. And the first half (like 3 episodes, it's only 7 total), don't make any sense. They start some guerilla plotline that goes nowhere and just spins it's wheels on a stupid boat for the last 4 episodes.

Is it worth watching? I guess. Is it gripping entertainment like the first season? Not even close. When they are done with the recruitment guy the show shot its load. It spirals downhill quickly from there. The face man from S1 is the only interesting character in the show.
