I don't understand how this "game" still has support given how long its been in development.
CCP (of Eve online) commented today on it. The mods of star citizen on reddit are pissed the Eve players are commenting on the "Vulture" on Star Citizen looks just like the Venture from CCP.
But a lot of people bought the game via Kickstarter, you'd have to argue that spending money on kickstarter is the same as buying a product, and it pretty much isn't, otherwise you could sue everyone who doesn't finish their games. For the people who bought the game after that, it's a bit more complicated but it might depend on what "product" you actually bought when you gave them money. They could argue you simply paid as a donation to help the development of the game and you got rewards, one of which includes the game eventually, but you didn't spend the money directly to buy the game yet. The refund policies only apply when buying something.Note that this is illegal in the EU. The EU legislation is very clear: any electronic goods must be refunded on demand up to 15 days AFTER the delivery of the FINAL advertised product. If Cloud Imperium wants to have any commercial presence in the EU, they still have to obey EU commerce laws
There's no release date, they have a timeline that they are more or less adhering to, but it's still implementing shit for the next year or whatever, release isn't even planned yet.Any release date info? Where’s that shill that used to hang out in this thread. He should have the l33t beta inf0z.
Sure, why not. Last time I played you could have a dozen different ships, fly around a packed, amazing looking city, enter in and out of orbit, load your ship out with munitions but didn't have anything to shoot at, docking bay, entering and exiting your vehicle. That was more than 2 years ago. Where's it at now?Does anyone mind giving me a rundown on what the game actually is right now?
Last someone mentioned it you could fly around in empty space, drive around on empty planets, and there was really no game to speak of.
Also are you buying a product or supporting/donating to development and getting perks?

Hmm don't know about cutting the content out of the patches but that's what I meant, they're patching the shit they said they would in 2018. If they did cut content from it it's pretty pointless but I was under the impression they were finally patching like they said they would. With that said even at this speed, they're pretty far from being finished with the base game. And obviously the base game is a lot smaller than what they originally claimed it'd be because they figured the scope of things was absolutely retarded before. You pay VAT, you are buying a product, this fantasy about supporting/donating is BS.
They have failed every single target date so far with the exception of the "quarterly patches" they promised for 2018... but they cut out 50%+ of what is "planned" for the patches regularly.
