Well what do we have here. I never would have guessed. Fatty gets to run the marathon and stomps everyone out for the win. All those episodes of her running finally paid off.

Is Anthony Rapp in the last season?

Interested to know how he can make accusations against Kevin Spacey, which all but destroyed his career, and were later thrown out of court, and manages to avoid any fallout himself.

So this is over. Pretty prototypical Trek finale. I probably liked the series more than most, but I'll never re-watch it.

One thing that annoys me is the whole

“hey, progenitors didn’t invent this, we found it! That means some godlike civilization made it. Btw now only you have control over it, so there is no risk of others using it for evil”

“time to destroy it!”

I understand the risks, but I hate the trope of “we must destroy this powerful tool”.

The Agent Daniels reveal was kind of cool I guess

Yeah, even if it literally ate babies, the thing has survived for hundreds of billions of years, and the first thing you do is smash it ? Imagine the kind of ego you'd need for that.

I'd like to see the original builders show up to ask what the fuck these people were doing with their public infrastructure.

Was there a lot of crying in the last season? It's what Shart Trek is all about apparently. Fuck, I need more Orville.

I watched two seasons of Strange New Worlds in a week and pretty much loved it.

Faith restored in the Star Trek franchise I watched the last episode of Discovery season 3 and episode 1 of season 4.

Switched off the tv and punched myself in the cock.

Doomcock thinks it's part of a move to clean up the canon and move forward without having to give a single fuck about STD

I refuse to give him views, but I assume he is referring to the Lower Decks finale?

Sure, you could interpret it that way, but I saw it as more of a nod to explain all the wildly divergent stuff across series. The 80s and 90s series retcon or changed stuff from TNG, the Abrahams movies changed more, Disco changed more, etc

He had additional information claiming that a larger effort is in play to get STD away from main continuity but in general I'm inclined to agree that Lower Decks is being overstated.

Of course they are reaching for clicks, but star trek being out of the mainstream isn't really a meme.

Ain't no one watching that shit. You can try to dismiss it as because it's hidden behind a paywall no one is interested in, but the bay of pirates numbers aren't very big either. No one is interested in this utter tripe.

Since Picard S3 nobody really gives a shit about "what's next" for Star Trek.

Season 3 did irreparable damage to nu-trek by reminding people just a little bit on what's missing. It was just enough of a reminder how far it's fallen.
