Wesley certainly isn't a great character but I don't think he is the worst.

I find it completely believable the world goes super PC and shit like a sensitivity counselor becomes an important position by the 24th century. Assuming we make it there lol

They already have sensitivity training in the military these days. You gotta respect everybody's feelings before you shoot 'em dead bro.

I can see Troi being a bridge officer just because of her telepathy for reading disgruntled ensigns minds but they really haven't talked much about telepathic defense technology yet.

I find it shocking that no military force has integrated some type of shielding or detection mechanism to prevent ship to ship mind reading.

the worst character in tng was the writing. the quality of character episode to episode varied so wildly, worf was god damn borning mostly but had some moments, troi was basically a walking mind rape victim

Glad to see someone agree with me on Vic being awesome.

More advanced piece of tech/crew member; Data or Voyagers Doctor equiped with mobile emitter?

I think the easy answer for many would be Data but I'm not so sure. The doctor really evolved a lot and even came close to being classified as his own living being/species.

As much as I love Data, I think I'd have to go with the doctor.

I don't know which can be considered more advanced, but the Doctor was incredibly more entertaining. Most episodes I wanted to choke Data, particularly the ones where he tried to be more "human". The Doctor however provided an endless stream of bitter sarcasm. Seriously, the Doctor rates as one of the top characters in Trek history.

Yeah , only reason Voyager was watchable. Hated the captain and 1st officer(fuck their names) and the dumb half klingon. Tuvak , 7 of 9(visually) and of course the Doctor made that show bearable to watch all 7 seasons. So along with Data , they were just great characters given to actors that fit the role perfectly. Same with TNG , only enjoyed it cause of Picard , Data and Q , though Q sucked in voyager or the awesome factor was watered down due to him being in TNG dunno. But wouldnt Data and Doctor be on par , just Data having a physical form. Both had to be programmed , or am i just a dumb ass?

Voyager is starting to piss me off. Every time they are in trouble, 7of9 adds her magical pixie dust (Borg tech) to help them out.

I'd like to stick my penis in 2of3 of 7of9's holes.

Chakotay. Honestly I hated the senior crew of Voyager with a passion, by far the worst most politically correct schlock ever. The female captain, the native american XO, the black vulcan, etc etc. The only normal white guy was a criminal! Ugh, just one of the many awful things about voyager.

Which of her holes doesn't meet your standards!?

My list:

1-Neelix
2-Chakotay
3-Janeway
4-Wesley
5-Troi

Every character on DS9 was pretty consistently awesome.

Actually, forget that, I'd load up on all the penis enhancers I could find, and screw her so much she'd need to spend a month in the regeneration chambers to stop the bleeding from all of her orifices.

Would an adaptive hymen turn your penis into a borg probe? And if so, wouldn't it be able to bypass the shielding anyways?

pretty much every episode in season 1 and 2 are skippable, unless Q shows up. after that, you just skip all the troi episodes.

dont skip the black people planet episode though

If they deemed it necessary or useful to have a telepath on board Starfleet could have gotten a full Betazoid to fill the role, Diana can go back to sickbay 'nough said. Starfleet isn't going to half-ass staffing their flagship and Diana was almost always rendered useless when emotions were strong enough for her to perceive with out effort on her part, I can't see that as meriting a recommendation to a bridge post. I see the benefit of having a councilor on board, they are there to comfort and reassure the redshirts that they will survive, we know they won't but they still have to believe it.

I registered to this damn site after lurking for years for two simple reasons: titties and to say that Tim Russ was the best Vulcan since Nimoy, and that includes Quinto. But mostly titties.

I didn't know who that was but I'm not surprised. I haven't watched any TV shows in which that actress has a recurring role.

Just finished an episode of season 3 TNG.

Beverly saves some overly curious caveman who gets electrocuted on Star Fleets hidden monitoring equipment and Picard is all "WTF, why not just let that caveman die. Prime Directive >:U"

Then everybody starts worshiping him as a God. Good times.
