I didn't think Rey was too bad, other than the Mary Sue forcepowers and that stupid "stop holding my hand!!!!!!" scene.

I'd be willing to bet my life that somewhere, at some point during the casting process of this movie, there was a list of every racial minority being passed around so they could make sure they ticked off one of each.

Anyway the other trailer was better.

Yeah not complaining, just think it's funny how obviously they went out of their way to tick off all the boxes. Won't be surprised if there's a scene with some gay couple in the background at a cantina or something.

EDIT: Yes, I am fully aware Sabotage did not come out until 1994, but in general I associate the Beastie Boys with the '80s.

So from what Ive seen they have totaly dropped the whole weapon development background in the Maw and gone for another desert planet generic setting? :(

Oh well, at least the action seems to be good and story decent, here´s to hoping for the best :)

The Maw was for the suncrusher and other crazy book stuff. Geonosis (the bug planet from the prequels) was where the first death star was constructed in secret after the Clone Wars ended. A Star Wars Rebels episode already tied into this.

Was also a very brief mention of it in I think episode 3 but I don't think it revealed where it was being built, just that it was in the works.
