Shattered Glass wasn't exactly a career defining or altering film for the vast majority of people, in my opinion. He did well, but that doesn't save you from the work you've done that literally is being consumed by almost everyone across all different age ranges. It sure as hell isn't going to do you any favors against the power of the Interwebs largely inhabited by exactly the kind of people that hated everything he is the most well known for. I would bet money he would be way better off it wasn't Lucas sitting on his ass, coffee in hand, make believe with me and big green the directing course, but there were other actors dealt the same shit hand that did way more with it. No free pass for Haden, blow up a role in something way out of left field, and maybe we can bring him back for the prequel remakes in a few years to do them right.... As a bit part..

He did well enough. Even in Jumper. The movie wasn't exactly a classic, but his acting certainly wasn't what killed it.

Hayden is going to play the title role of Marco Polo in the big budget 2017 movie version, directed by the guy who directed Fast and the Furious One and XxX.

I'd argue NatPo also came out relatively well out of the prequels, she was in Thor, Black Swan, V for Vagina, and upcoming biopic about Jackie O and reunites with Ewan McGregor for Jane Got a Gun.
Apart from V for Vendetta (which was in parallel with Ep3 more or less) there was a good half-decade for her between finishing Star Wars and starting to get big roles again...andthatwas on the back of Black Swan more than anything else. She came damned close to having her career crash and burn.

NOT THE ROGUE ONE TRAILER BELOW

So when do they start hitting us with the trailers for this? We got TFA trailer over a year before release.

Actually, watching that trailer now, most of the shots weren't even in the final cut. Even the X-wings flying over the water was a different "take"

My guess they will wait for TFA hype to die down a bit, so it doesnt confuse people. I'd guess around april.

Deadpool had an exclusive IMAX teaser for TFA, I'd assume we might see the same during Deadpool in February

From the realm of rumor and hearsay:

Mads Mikkelsen (Galen appears to be his name in the film) is kind of the key to the film in a way. He is a scientist that took over the Geonosian Death Star project. He solved several of the flaws the Empire could not and is sort of a revered person in the Empire for his contributions. However, Mikkelsen?s character is a Robert Oppenheimer-type character. Oppenheimer helped design the atomic bomb only to say, ?Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.? The guilt ?Galen? feels for his contributions to the Empire become too much and he defects, attempting to make things right. In order to do this, he enlists the help of his only daughter?.

Felicity Jones? character has to undo the devastation her family has unleashed onto the galaxy. Early versions of this character had her as a bounty hunter type of mercenary. But with the familial connections it appears as if this idea might not interface with the final stuff for the character so I?m hesitant to say she?s a bounty hunter/mercenary type in the final iterations of the film. I believe she is probably a scientist-type herself in character of the mission to get the plans, aided by bounty hunters, in this final iteration. (But I could be wrong about that part.)

It was Christopher McQuarrie, one of the better writers out there, and a guy who has been called on to quietly fix major motion pictures before(most famously: World War Z).
Lol. I thought the only thing he did to WWZ was cut out that bit of the plot where Brad Pitt's wife whores herself out to keep her spot on the army base or aircraft carrier or whatever the fuck so instead of coming back from his impossible mission and finding another dude shacked up with his wife, he gets a happy ending.

*edit*

granted, the original ending is about the only thing I can imagine that would have made that godawful movie even worse.

He cut an entire WWZ-style battle in Russia to have the zombie-on-the-plane bit and the scene in the lab instead.

Which makes sense given that the zombies were WAY TOO FAST for anything described in the book to work anyway. So instead of a large scale unwinnable battle with bad cgi zombies we got Pitt injecting himself with instant AIDS.

It's been pretty much assumed since the movie was announced that Vader would be making an appearance butrumorshave been swirling that his role will be much bigger than most anticipated.

Darth Vader will have action sequences in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. We have been told that Darth Vader has had several suits of armor built for the film. There is a hero suit which is a direct copy of the suit we have seen in Star Wars: A New Hope (see Darth Vader Dream Team Assembled?), down to the lenses in the eyes. The most interesting part is that stunt suits have been built, which indicates Darth Vader will in fact see action.

The action sequences filmed are unknown, but there was work pitching the different ways Darth Vader could kill rebels on a battlefield with the Force and his lightsaber. The storyboard "pitches" showed decapitated rebels, people being dismembered by Vader throwing his sword, levitating bodies to make human shields, and so on. The art was more violent than what we've seen Darth Vader do on screen before.
