That is just called modern TvP. It is un winnable against a competent Protoss if you allow them 6 gases. So you have to kill them at 4.

It isn't very unusual to get a small lead and all-in 2base vs 2base in TvP anymore. Because that is when the Protoss is at it's weakest. Delaying their third while trying to amass a huge army works in certain instances but it relies upon a Terran contain. Be it soft or hard. If you hard contain you run the risk of having warp prisms dunking zealots on you left and right. If you soft contain you run the risk of your medivac getting sniped out by Feedback and then the Protoss can freely take his third. So it makes a whole ton of sense that if you get a small advantage in the early game to just try and end it there. Because a Protoss can still get to 200/200 w/ full upgrades and Colossus + Storm off three bases. And you don't want that to happen. TvP isn't a match up of "when ahead get more ahead" from the Terran perspective. Because once we get MMMVG out that is our pinnacle of tech. Our upgrades don't scale as well as Protoss and neither do our units. So the match up is largely "when ahead go win."

Yeah Terrans are having a real rough time at the top level. TvZ prior to the mine nerf wasn't terrible but now I'm hearing top level Terrans are almost as disheartened about TvZ and they are TvP. Then TvP has been broken for quite a while but now Toss are figuring out all their openers and how to exploit the MSC. Not a fun time for them.

I feel like it's almost time to start balancing with maps, Daedalus was a bit extreme, but a bit more vulnerable thirds or a couple of spots that would be great for dropping could be useful. But since Blizzard is in charge of WCS map pool, we get nothing for the next 3 months. I also kinda like the MsC vision nerf...

One of the issues with really all the maps is all three of the base are pretty close to one another. Frost being perhaps the one with the furthest third. But since the MSC can move as the crow flies it can get from one base to another. Se even on three bases and the Terran multi-prongs all three bases the MSC can just PO two of the Nexus while defending with army the third location. It is very, very frustrating. I can only imagine it is more frustrating for competent players.
I'd like a MSC vision nerf and possibly a nerf on the range it can cast PO. Right now it is a very long cast range. If it was a shorter range you could zone the MSC out with micro and/or EMP. While really not effecting the ZvP matchup all that much.

ProLeague play is so incredibly high level. It isn't a shock that eSF did so poorly because it is obvious that, given this format, the KeSPA teams are just better. I also think it exposes the current issues with Terran even more.

So I wake up, check Reddit and see like 10 posts about proleague and soulkey vs reality, so I'm like holy shit it must have been a sick ass game. Thankfully I didn't load up the vod and start watching and instead checked the live report thread on TL. Sounds awful to watch.
