I'm still digging LotV MP. There is less sitting around going "Oh fuck what is he doing that will kill me" and more "I'm going to kill him." Even though the games are faster paced it feels less stressful.

Bit late to the party, but really enjoyed it. Thought the story was pretty good up until the epilogue where it suddenly descended to the level of internet fanfic. Recognized John de Lancie because it's almost the exact same voice he used for Discord, lol @ calling him an A-list actor though.
Co-op mode is pretty entertaining so far. Started with Karak, I can see why they say he isn't for beginners since he has no anti-air until mirages.

Snute probably. There are no good NA players let alone Zergs. But with that said sometimes you can benefit more from finding someone who is more mid-tier GM that will interact with the chat to answer your questions instead of someone like Snute who will gloss over extremely important details simply because they're ingrained in his habit.
Think I'm done with MP until they nerf Zerg. The ladder seems to be 60% Zergs and it is not any fun in the least just hoping you can cripple them enough until they get the Ultras at which point they reflect bio shots back at you. Its retarded. Whoever thought giving ultras more armor while simultaneously nerfing Marauders is a fucking retard.

Yeah, I got level 15 on my last hero the other day (Kerrigan). Now just to play randomly for fun and to eventually get all the achievements. Swann > Zagara > Raynor my top 3 to play for fun.
As for MP, I haven't really touched it, nor have I been watching many streams. Waiting for some tournaments to pop up again just so I can catch up on some of the strats. There is going to be another mapping contest soon (blizzard soon...sigh) according to what I've heard, so I should start to get back into mapping as well.

I really like Karax. Energizers being his only ground to air unit really sucks, but you have the Spear of Adun to mostly cover that. On the maps where you actually have to build defenses instead of just zerging back and forth across the map, he's amazing. His synergy with Swann is top notch, and he does well with anyone running a heavy mech rush like dragoons, tempests, or void rays with his free map wide mech repairs.
I really can't wait til we get more Co-op heroes. I imagine we'll get Valerian, Nova and/or Tosh, Dehaka, Stukov, maybe some others, but god I want Alarak. Wouldn't mind hearing more John de Lancie, but hooooly shit would Destroyers just absolutely wreck everything in Co-op.

Hmm, I was looking for something else and found that a lot of planned co-op commanders have already been datamined. I didn't think they'd make so goddamn many, maybe they won't implement them all. Some of them seem like a bit of a stretch. I imagine Talandar would be like a purifier version of Kerrigan, I can't imagine what the difference between Arcturus and Valerian would be, and it seems kind of weird for non-combatants like Dr Hanson, Stettman, Izsha, and Rohana to be tapped as commanders. I know they used Stettman in one of the final Terran campaign missions, but all he did was heal. Still, looks like they're planning to keep new commanders coming.

That's cool but the game mode needs more 'stuff' (maps, 3 player coop, maybe competitive coop 2 v 2 try to score points, get more objectives, more customization, etc.).
I don't know how many more trains I can kill before I just alt-f4.

Karax is nice, but until you get your robo stuff out, you really have nothing, which is kinda boring. Their zealots are really just a cannon fodder, I don't even know why they have charge upgrade. Phoenixes (Mirages) are overpriced crap, the cooldown on Graviton beam makes them useless unless you outnumber the force and Carriers are terribly slow to just rush them, not to mention they require different set of upgrades and don't synergize with your ground terribly well. Why would you retool your whole army for the last 25% of the mission when you can just spam more of the same stuff. Like said above, AA is better handled by Spear of Adun. Energizer mech steal is pretty fun when you can grab science vessels, Immortals become truly immortal.

Well the real problem is that his zealots cost 50 extra minerals and dont have whirlwind. I mostly like Karax as a support commander, building strongpoints/cannon rushing while supporting your teammate with energizers and immortals/colossi. Repair beam is one of the strongest abilities in the game if your partner is building mech. I've got everyone almost maxed now, and I have to say Vorazun really seems like the best by a wide margin, whether you're rushing voids or templar. Shadow guard to take care of the first wave and clear the expansion rubble, black hole for only 25 energy, time stop every 4 minutes, recalling your troops around the map with dark pylons, she is crazy. Artanis seems like the weakest of the heroes, except his support abilities fit in decently well with any other commander and he's definitely the most versatile/well rounded.

Karax once you get level 11 turns into a blast to play, you just bank minerals and cannon rush things lol. Your whole army is basically 5 probes running around with your teammates units instantly warping in pylons/cannons/batteries. It's actually a ton of fun lol.
