Zap can you take a quick look at this replay to tell me what I could be doing better? It is using my new build and a bit different playstyle. Here are some notes I took away:
Cons
-Personal-
*Late production addition w/ 3 bases.
*Late 3/3
*Late Ghost upgrades
*Needs more medivac activity
*Mediocre macro, late 4th
-Opponent-
*Too conservative, appears to fear winning
*Went for plasma upgrades of armor (??)
*Poor scouting, very inactive with obs
*Mediocre to bad macro
Pros
-Personal-
*Good army activity
*Diligent scanning against obs
*Never overreacting one way or the other in the ghost/viking tightrope
*Dropping with a purpose
*Took good engagement positions
*Good use of Ghost vs Templar
*Good map presence throughout the game
-Opponent-
*Good drop reactions
*Very conservative cannons shut down mineral line drops

Probably about a year and half overdue, the question was always when.
I still hope that he will come back and be decent, because watching the logic behind his macro was one of the most helpful lessons I ever learned in all of SC2 and he always had one of the most solid openings around.

I am impressed that he lasted as long as he did. It's really hard to get back to the top once you fall off. I think most people just stop trying.

Tell me about it, I'm doing placement matches on NA right now just because I'm having withdrawal.

I don't really have a problem with that, SC2 doesn't need to beat LoL/Dota to be successful. BW had even higher skill cap and it was actually more successful in Korea ... There's really no other competitive 1v1 game right now, Shootmania and other FPS have become more or less a joke and I really like that I don't need to look for 4 other people to have some semblance of progaming experience.

That's exactly why I fucking love this game, like playing vs Hasuobs in some small online cups and so on. When you lose there is nobody else to blame but yourself. Though I'll see whether I can play HotS casually or not, because I played WoL only when I knew I had time and capacity to do some research and decent practice, like 3-4 hours per day and then I stopped for 3-6 months only to do it all over again.
Lol you got to level 46 in the beta in like a week I wouldn't call that casual!
Once Hots launches and there is global play I will play a few games with you guys

The problem I have with the game is that I cannot compete anymore. It bruises my ego if I actually try. I was one of the better rts players around, but 10 years is a long time and to be honest, other players now are a lot better than I ever was anyway.

Tenks: Yeah and now when HotS launches it will take me like 2 months to get 30 on protoss only. I could sink in the time, so I did and had a blast. If I did that right now, RL would kick me in the balls.
Flank: Yeah, I know what you are getting at, sometimes I got angry because I won despite playing abysmally, but overall I think SC2's UI makes the playing field rather even, unless you are diamond+, knowledge beats mechanics.

And I have seen on twitter him looking for a WoW raiding guild. The likely hood of him making it back is about nil imo. Which sucks as he his by far my favorite foreigner. Been a fan since he went to Korea and trying to win a Courage tourney
