It was $40 and they clearly weren't working on HOTS from the second SC2 released. People overlook a bunch of stuff they added to the BNet 2.0 interface as well with the HOTS release and the incremental updates during WoL.

Just make EMP silence the spellcasting for 10 or whatever seconds. Worked great with the Dark Ranger in War 3 without completely crippling caster units.

Well, look at lock down on the ghosts of SC1. Insanely powerful, harder to micro all of it, 2 per ghost if full energy with only 25s of stealth + 2 lock down if full energy. Ghosts were also 75m 25g in that I believe. I think the templar is probably fine though, with storms even being on the weak side compared to SC1.

Switched them up they were 25m 75g. Though Ghosts weren't really used all too much outside of TvT where they became really good at locking down BCs. Sometimes you'd see them to lock down an Arbiter.

I think it's pretty safe to assume Blizzard won't use "hard to control" as a balancing mechanic again in SC2.

I have this bad feeling Zerg is going to go in the same direction it went in WoL. The foreigners who were "good" (*COUGH COUGH*) at WoL suddenly aren't getting the same results. It must be HOTS is imbalanced, right? Not the fact WoL was an imbalanced mess for a solid 1.5 years.

Wrong, the WoL skill cap led to most foreigners stabilizing around the level where zerg was the most successful race. HotS seems to raise that level to "unreachable-unless-you-are-bonjwa"

This is a major problem in my opinion. Siege tanks and caster units should be more powerful but harder to micro.

A true master can use them all seemlessly. There's a reason the real die hards are playing Broodwar still. Same reason I think some people still play chess, they just love the fuckin' game mechanics.

Siege tanks can't even move, how do you want to make them harder to micro?

and please don't say "remove smart targeting" because that would break them.

Game 4 on GSTL was crazy!

My boy Byun with the all-kill! Insanity amount of drops going on.

The order move then shift+deploy on siege tank is pretty lawls. It can still require some micro and there's better ways to position them... they just aren't the sc1 rape machines I loved.

They are extremely prominent in terran v terran but I'm just not using them in other matchups.

I have a feeling widow mines are going to get nerfed in some fashion. After playing with them for a while they are probably a bit strong in the TvZ matchup. Once you upgrade their burrow haste you can pretty much just walk them infront of your bio as you a-move across the map and if the Zerg dares to engage you just burrow them and blow up their entire force.

It was Yugioh playing WoL ZvT 3 times in a row with ling/bling/muta into infestor/broodlord. 0 ultras or vipers. Taeja didn't play his best, floating over 1k minerals in one game, but he still rolled over him, with his signature "let's attack every place on the map now" move.

Reddit looking like TL actually confused me for a bit, liquipedia replacing all korean players with barcodes was pretty good too. That one was a bit too obvious. TLO announcing that he is switching back to terran almost got me.

The worst was clicking a link from reddit to tl. I was confused where the hell I was for a bit.
