You need to make sure to get the mods and shit for the pc version, and a gamepad is highly recommended(but you can play with keyboard/mouse with the mods).
The game is definitely seeing some new life now. Was averaging around 7K simultaneous players before the event, now it's the second most played on steam at 100+.

The salty tears tasted so good last night. Caught one guy with the jockey and took him from full to downed in one ride, his group just left him right at the start.
Flip side though is the noob infected are equally terrible so was still less than 50% win rate.

You'll need to edit dsfix.ini based on the native resolution of your monitor and the power of your GPU(s). If you have a 1080p display, just go into the ini and set AA to 4 (SMAA level 4 is still not a significant performance hit) and turn on SSAO if you want. Leave render width/height, present width/height, DOF resolution, etc. alone for now.
After you make sure it's working ok and the fps is capping out at 30 like it should, you can go back into the ini and adjust other things like HUD opacity/scaling, borderless fullscreen window, etc. if you want to make any changes there.

Oh god had I done my research I would've known Dark Souls on Steam needed a Microshaft GAMEZ FOR WINDOWZ account, and I would've passed. I can't even create an account because their webpage is timing out, or maybe their URL is bad. Who knows who cares. Oh wait, the game won't save if I don't log in. Fun.....

Yeah, this and the fall one have sucked. Mostly the same games, I already have most of them and they were already a lot of them at the same prices before like Skyrim, etc. The only few games I would consider maybe buying, haven't been cheap really, like CoD Ghosts was $40 still, etc. And A Wolf Among Us has barely came down and no sales on Walking Dead Season 2 yet. Just a sucky sale in general.

The Fall one was fine imo. I mean you do run out of games to buy after awhile after years of these sales but there has literally been almost nothing good in this sale so far. Hell yesterday they put a free game in the flash sale slot for like an hour before they replaced it with something else for crying out loud.
