It's gone on sale for 66% off a few times but yeah, it really needs to drop in price. Games are staying at full price for a lot longer nowdays.

I bit on Dark souls 2 scholar of the first sin for $15 week ago, but haven't played it yet, so if it goes on sale for cheaper, I'll refund it and buy it again.

Historical low was 50% off almost exactly a year ago, so I would expect a similar sale price for the upcoming Steam sale. Part of the problem is that they like to give extra shark cards for their microtransaction bullshit instead of doing really big sales on the game itself.

I'm 99% sure I've seen a 66% off on it, but I'm in Japan, that might have something to do with it.

That's possible, Japan does its own thing for the most part and Enhanced Steam just pulls data from isthereanydeal.com, which I assume is just NA/EU regions. I vaguely recall that the game+shark card bundles have been discounted a bit more than 50% in the past, but you're not really saving money that way.

isthereanydeal.com usually is organized by region and restricted to places you can buy in your region, so yea Japan shops won't show up if you're browsing in the US.

sonic 25th anniversary bundle, you get a ton (12+) sonic games for $10. make sure you slide the scale so charity gets most of the money
Humble Sonic 25th Anniversary Bundle (pay what you want and help charity)

you get 3 keys (plus more later i assume)

key1: Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic CD
key2: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 - Episode 1, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic Adventure 2 + Battle DLC
key3: Sonic Lost World, Sonic Generations + Casino Nights DLC, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 - Episode 2, Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed + Metal Sonic & Outrun and Ryo Hazuki DLC

Steam is lagging pretty bad for me right now. I was about to pick up civ5+ all DLC for 12.22$ (92% off) but then the site stooped working.

too bad the actual summer sale is dogshit, games at 15-20% are being highlighted. doom at 40% is ok, but thats pretty much the price cdkeys has had it since launch. the new sale format blows, plus the servers can't stay up for shit.

All this is accurate and true.

I'm curious if there's data out there that steam sales were damaging the bottom line of developers so valve had to pull back on the price cuts.

Or, likely, valve and/or devs are being greedy twats.

Valve is to blame for getting rid of daily/flash deals, but all the prices are set by the developers/publishers.

Sale is underwhelming, as expected after GOG's last week.
