It's Demo-fest time. Looking forward to digging into some of these later.

Bandai Namco sale on steam seems legit. Check it out if you're in the need of a jrpg fix. PIcked up Tales of Vesp definitive and Ni No Kuni remastered.

Hmm Code Vein was somewhat well received around here wasn’t it? Hatorade Hatorade you bought it, do tell! And those Naruto and DBZ games are on sale, thought one of those was reviewed fairly well.

Time for another Steam sale, aka a period of time where Valve shows us how much better the UI of their store could be before exiling us back to the default experience.

They'd have to remake the entire combat engine to make NNK worth playing through, 2nd is just as gorgeous and you won't want to gouge your eyeballs out at AI decisions.

Bandai sale is awesome though, great selection of nostalgia to play with

This Steam sale seems pretty "meh" again, no surprise. I was hoping for a bit steeper discounts on a few wishlisted games.

The big problem with Steam's sales is that they need to be deep, deep discounts rarely seen or loaded with incentives (spend X dollars and get Y games for free! Or spend X dollars and get Y dollars in steam credit!). They just sorta half-ass it every time. On sale for $24.99! Then you go check isthereanydeal.com and find out the game's lowest ever price was $9.99 at DLgamer or some shit.

Yeah I used to load up on games each steam sale, now it’s rare if I buy one or two, they’re just not huge discounts like they used to be. It’s been weak for so long now though I don’t really care the sales suck, I just don’t really participate anymore.

Yeah, I have alerts setup with isthereanydeal.com and just buy wishlist shit throughout the year. I remember Steam sales being a huge event I was excited about and now I barely notice them, because they very rarely ping my discount thresholds I have set on isthereanydeal.

Back in the old days publishers would drop their pants to try and get on the map. Now people will buy a 4 bit game you wrote on you TI-85 so no need to totally drop your pants. Those other sites that are selling at a deep discount are losing money on that title to try and bring you in. Can't blame Steam for that.

I’m not really mad about it but I do miss the fun of buying a bunch of shit games I’ll never play and finding a gem or two in there.
