I think there was some issue with Anti Cheat and Linux, but it might have been fixed not sure.
Unsupported can also mean it's too new to have been verified.

It just means it hasn’t gone through the official verification process. May not have an official button mapping. However most anything that works with a controller works with it, even unsupported stuff. There are also button profiles people have made you can use for unsupported games. I’ve seen games that don’t have any controller support coded in and they work on steam deck with user profiles.

Why? I looked briefly.
I really hate fiddle fucking with gaming stuff. I do so much of that at work that I have zero patience for it during rec time. I just want to load a game and play. Is there any use for this site other than looking up tweaks?

I've heard steam deck sometimes has issues with anticheats, but devs tend to go out of their way to support it with new games because steam is big. I don't play multiplayer/online at all with my steam deck. I've found unsupported games generally work pretty well out the box, though I play on a keyboard and mouse, so I wouldn't be aware if there's controller type issues.

You can look up games there to see if users have verified if they work or not before you buy a game.
Click the number to go into the game screen. They rate each games compatibility, you can click the Native/Platinum/Gold/etc. to see what each rating means to see if you will have to fiddle with that title or not to get it to work well on the deck.
Then click the picture of the title and you can see what problems people had, what settings they used, etc.
So it’s basically letting you avoid games that require fiddling, but if you really want to figure one out it can help you through it.

I just checked, the repack is available to DL if you dont want to drop the 50 for it. Or if you just want to try it and then buy it, whatever.
For 50 bucks, Im not impressed by it at all. They could have done so much more. But the controls, etc, people are saying are good. So I'm just gonna let it pass. I still have the original, anyways.
