I actually really, really enjoyed the game. The DLC is worth the cost as well.

Outlast is very messed up in terms of the story (the DLC is quite disturbing at parts) and has plenty of atmospheric jumps, along with more generic 'BOO!' jumps. If you like spooky games, grab it.

dell is running a promo and will send you a $25 e gift card 15-25 days after a game ships for select titles, lot of console games but a few PC games on the list

some caveats: Dell tends to be random when it comes to shipping games, sometimes they release on time and sometimes you can wait a week or two. You can only use one eGC per order when ordering online, so don't go nuts and order 10 games and expect to put $250 towards a new laptop or something. It does take a full 3 weeks after item ships to get your eGC, and they expire within 3 months.

I've ordered 3 games from them this year under this promo and gotten 5 gift cards (they regularly screw up and send out too many), but I only order games that I'm in no rush to play and know there will be plenty of stock on. I ordered Just Dance PS4 and Beyond Earth from them mostly just to burn my last remaining eGCs before they expire. I don't know what you'll get for Beyond Earth, I'm hoping a steam key. Entire Assassins Creed franchise on sale and haven't played a single one of them. Never really had an interest initially, then there were like 10 sequels in 4 years. Any recommendations for what I should play first?

I'd start with AC1 but the gameplay is a bit rough and the story is just ok. AC2 is a far superior game and the trilogy around it is one of the best in gaming, imo. So start with AC1 if you want to get in on the story from the start but go with AC2 if you don't mind looking up a cliff's notes version of AC1.

Yeah, I think that was the problem. Everyone said AC1 was pretty average, but I don't like skipping games, especially if there is some kind of continuity in the story. So it's like I have to play the first before I can play any others, but there's so many of them it's a bit overwhelming now.
