The animation in Berserk was kinda meh, its all done in CG and it shows. Not surprising considering the recent Berserk movies have been pretty much pure CG.

The animation felt like a mash up of the movies and show but holy shit I didn't think I would be this excited. This is going to be so fucking good.

Shokugeki no Soma is back baby! My goodness this is such a great anime. That 1st episode was perfect.

Also LOL @ Shokugeki ep 1 - the scene of the men in the fields was priceless.

I still need to catch up on the rest of food wars. About 3/4 of the ways through the first season but pooped out. The fish dishes they keep making don't look tasty at all. Real Japanese food is pretty nasty.

Yeah...I'm getting frustrated with them too. I WANT to support the artists and makers, but fucks sake, CR is making it damn hard. I may drop them soon.

Subjective - I find it hard to find good Japanese down here in Miami unless you go to some really upper tier and costly places - However when you do the shit is delicious as fuck. I love Benehana and Samuarai - Ive yet to venture to Japan myself but i imagine ill run into alot of weird shit out there trying to find something good to eat.

Actually, Hawaii is a lot like little Tokyo also. It's at least 65-70% asian food out here. Mostly Japanese, but also some Korean and Chinese.

I'd love to dump CR but it keeps me from having to torrent a large chunk (usually at least half) of the shows every season. I very rarely stream anime from a browser, it's almost always my PS4 (CR app) or NAS running Kodi for non-CR shows.

On a better note, fuck yes Food Wars. Been so long since the last episode, glad it didn't drag it out and got right to the fun. Too bad he had to beat best girl.

I just finished my binge of it. Have you never seen Spice and Wolf? its not exactly slice of life but its pretty amazing.
