1.) Don't use 3* mobs as feeders until you research them a bit. I dumped a fire epikion priest when I first started to level up a fire golem =p.
2.) Do enough arena to get 30-50 crystals at the end of the week and buy the 225 crystal pack when you can until you get some decent monsters. After that, save up for the 750.
3.) Friend everyone on the list, but leave some slots open for Secret Dungeons that you might need the last few parts of and have to get it from someone in general chat.
4.) IAP will make you grumpy if you don't get anything good. f2p is definitely more rewarding

There are some monsters that areclearlysuperior to other monsters (hi2u Fire Inugami for an easily attainable example), but good runes make (or seem to make, to me) a much bigger difference. As soon as 3* are consistently available, don't even bother with 2*. When 4* is easily attainable, don't bother with lower than 4*, etc.

Ugh, after grinding water/fire/magic dungeons all weekend I got barely enough to awaken my fire inugami and not near enough mid magic orbs for my water E priest. I netted about 200 basic summoning scrolls so that is a bonus I guess?

I've set water E priest to friend monster, but if yall want the fire inugami instead let me know.

I have over 500 of those stupid unknown scrolls. To me it just isn't worth the 300 crystals to summon them.

Crazily if you are a friend of someone you can use their secret dungeons, so when people see an SD they really want, they want a temp add so they can farm it. I agree with avery that it's good to have a slot or two open so you can try and take advantage of that. Also not a bad idea to fill in the remaining spots with the highest level people you can, so you can use their (presumably) great shared unit, and you get max social points for free summons.

First world problems - I have a 6* Energy rune with +HP primary and 13% HP minor, and without those free power up balls, there's no way I can max that baby out any time soon heh

OK cool, I just hit levle 12 and I have 2 4* that I have been focusing on.

Feel like I am sort of stuck. My wind archer is at Max level........so do I try to evolve or awaken? What is the differences?

I can't even farm the material for awaken yet.....so I guess I have to evolve which means i need to level up other 3 * mobs for her to eat right?

Awakening only outweighs evolving when you gain a skill or it modifies a skill.

Evolving reduced the monster to level one, but increases their max level by 5 each time. Awaking also adds stats, but not at the rate that 5 extra levels do.

The awakening is slow going at first until you can reliably auto run the 4th floor of any elemental Cairos dungeon.

You can do both without affecting the other (I thought it did, but was wrong), so there's no reason not to evolve and/or awaken whenever you can. If that is your plan for that creature, of course; don't awaken stuff you are just going to feed to others, obviously.

As an aside, I have literally auto-ran Famion 1 almost all fucking morning at work today, and still have 50 energy in the bank from the refund. Combination of leveling, doing the first 10 levels of the tower to get 50 free, and the 2am-5am 40 has kept me going almost the entire time. Just ran out in time for lunch! Obviously it isn't always like this, but man it is nice to have a game where you can actually play for awhile if you choose to instead of logging in every 1-2 hours, blowing your load in 10 minutes, and logging back out.

Is there a best way to get material for evolve? I need a bunch of 3 star creatures to feed to my archer to evolve but I only get 1-2 monsters usually.

For awakening it looks like you need to farm cairos dungeons right?

Level up the 2 stars to 3* and use those. Cairos dungeons are the only place to acquire awakening materials.

What ^^ said. Feed the 1* to the 2*, and use other 2* to turn those into 3*. Just doing dungeons and shit should give a steady supply of shit scrolls to get mobs, as well as your social points. You will also rarely get 3* from those scrolls/SP and (in my experience) the vast majority of them are trash, so those are good evolving material as well. Even if they are awakened, a shit unit is a shit unit. Also once you start farming Faimon 1 you'll be drowning in Hellhounds - though personally I find the Fire, Wind, and Water Hellhounds to be quite nice, so you may want to use those as skill food /shrug

Currently sitting at 340 Energy in my mailbox right now from the events - I feel like I need a day off to spend it all haha

Why do some of the cairos dungeons have timers next to them?

Sometimes I have a ton of dungeons available and sometimes barely any. Like right now I only have dragon, giant, magic and darkness available....and of those only darkness has a timer counting down. What happened to fire and water dungeons etc.

The normal course of events is that each day is a different element (Darkness being today). They just had a special event that let you do all of them for the past several days, which just ended last night, is all. That's the only reason Darkness has a timer, because it will then be replaced with the next element, and so on.

The ones with no timers are always available.
