Any advice on what to make my next 5 star?
I currently have Fire Inugami, Wind Warbear and Water Succubus all 5 star.
The only natural 4 stars I have are wind lich and water deathknight. Others I am considering are water mystic witch, grim reaper (wind,water or fire), water e priest, hellhound (fire,water) and water howl.
Thoughts?

I would go with one of the hellhounds if you need strong offense of either of those elements, e priest if you need more defense, or mystic witch if you are on a good roll and want to keep improving one of your end game units.
I haven't been impressed with any of the lich's and have used 2 waters and a fire for 5* fodder.

Water Mystic Witch is pretty nice, although mine isn't awakened yet either. Have at least 2 waters in front of her to awaken (one being the E Priest, so that might be the one you want next if you need the healing/defense)
Speaking of, I already really fucking hate farming for essences. Grinding xp is ok because at least you can pick where you want to go, maybe get some runes, etc. But essences typically take more energy (at my level anyway, can't do Hell yet), give shitty xp (if you can even do them with creatures that still need xp), and seem to never drop the fucking essences I want. I'm farming B4 to get mids, as that is the highest I can reasonably auto (still lose 1/10 unless I manually do the boss), so I would assume that is my best bet right?

I've maxed my four star wind lich so I may just save him for 6* fodder if I ever get to that stage. I think its between mystic witch and hellhound, i'll decide after I open my next pack of scrolls just in case something better comes along in a couple days.

I have found that waiting in one channel until someone gets the SD, then sending a friend request to them, and then asking them to accept in chat works the best.

Yeah. The game fucked me out of day one with the weird bug some of us got. And this Monday I stayed out after darts and got hammered, when I got home I started to work on it. Woke up in bed the next morning with my tablet sitting next to me on the victory screen for Giants dungeon. Nowhere close.

Just freed up a ton of space by 5* both red and blue hellhounds and feeding them 3 angelmons each. I think it is time to open the 12 mystic scrolls I have gathered in the last few weeks. I'll report back.
Edit: Just got the 3 day XP boost, running Fam 1 and getting 1500 XP per mob feels really really good

I assume you are laden with natural 4 and 5's like mad?
