I keep wanting to believe that Phillip is like a master spy and he can really just fall into a persona (this one happens to be a crazy ex-spy with mental issues) but sadly I think maybe he is just crazy now and maybe our government broke him and owes him some sort of recompense. Or he was just a desk jockey his whole career...

Yeah, Brenda is fine as hell, but she's playing way under the radar so far. We got some very nice shots of her in this week's challenge.

I think someone mentioned in the current season that he was in the Fisheries Dept? That is, going around and checking Fishing licenses etc. :-D

There's actually an investigation, both for the cause of the death(they required a blood test for illicit substances) and for the responsability of the doctor/production because supposedly they didn't want to fly him in an heli like they said they did because they weren't sure it was worth it and heli is expensive. It is a bit weird though that it happened in the first day, I wouldn't say it's impossible that someone who has a lot of trouble sleeping/not getting proper nourishment could have a heart attack, kinda like these korean gamers, but to have one on the first day.
Also supposedly didn't have any heart condition or anything, but the guy was 25 so it's really a bit weird.
Not that the french survivor is very interesting to watch, they use a much more limited set of rules and shit so you don't have all the drama and strategy you get in the US one(no individual idol, no team remixing halfway before the merge).

Ya, I'm betting on hyper-excited at the start of the new season and a previously undetected heart defect myself. Some athletes die from it. There were a series a stories on that kind of thing between 1 and 3 years ago iirc. Surprised the doctor missed it, since most european sports teams test for that specifically now I think, but I guess that caution didnt make it to TV.
