That was so satisfying seeing Fish voted off. Fucker was so smug with his two votes. Jeremy is a fucking retard using an idol on him because nobody in their right mind uses their lone idol on another person so he must have two is what I would be thinking. Apparently nobody figured it out though.

I was thinking it was a bad move because it has very little upside for him. Yeah, he makes the vote go the way he wants, but it draws lines; and he even says that when he plays it. The lines didn't go his way though, and that isolated him from the fringe of his alliance.

I think they made a mistake not getting Joe out when they had a chance. Also, I'm not a fan of Spencer's move. I know he felt like he was on the outs but Stephen, Jeremy, and Tasha were still his strongest alliance and now he's got nobody. On the other hand, Jeremy blowing an idol to save Stephen also seemed a bit weird. As others have said, you lose an idol and expose yourself a lot just to save one person. I think he won Stephen's loyalty with that move but he alienated Spencer at the same time which made Stephen's loyalty not particularly useful.

BTW, for people wondering why they didn't split the vote when Savage got voted out, this is why. If you are not 100% sure that everyone is on board then splitting the vote makes it so one person can screw up your plan. Fishback got too clever and wasted his advantage (and Jeremy's idol).

Also it's cool that Kelly Wentworth got another idol. I wonder if there's ever been another season where two different people got their hands on 2 idols.

Yeah, this has the potential still to be one of my Top 3 favorite seasons depending on how it ends. It seems like something awesome is happening each week. Also, the 8 were stupid for giving up their shots at individual immunity. I guess I can understand if you knew you'd be one of the first eliminated, but no way I'm giving up my shot at immunity for shelter upgrades after the merge.

I half expected Jeff to show up at the shelter and be like, "okay guys, time out you're all about to die, come get out of the rain for a few minutes." My memory is terrible at previous seasons and detailed specifics, but this is the worst I remember a tribe looking. It also could be that it seems the last 10+ seasons tribes have been handed fire, food, and shelter, so this is just the first time in a decade they've actually looked miserable.

The reprehensible Naonka donka and Kelly quit at the same time because of the rain. While I hated both of those bitches, rain is a mother fucker on your body and your psyche. Not to mention, it makes for terrible television.

I think the worst I saw a tribe was maybe the first one with Ozzy? They didn't have fire and couldnt make water so they were litterally sucking water off of plants.

I think Palau takes the cake. Then again, maybe I'm just remembering them for their performance, rather than the actual mental/physical state of the tribe.

They commented a couple times how the rain was so unrelenting that no one could strategize because they were huddled under the shelter for days at a time. Certainly makes for boring television when the entire cast is just sitting in a huddle to try and keep warm.

Spencer was the first one in that is the vibe I got. She's pretty cute.

Edit: Sad to see Joe go while worthless people like Kimmi, Tasha, and Abi get to stay. He had to go though and if the women's alliance works it will be a miracle.

Abi is so insufferable. Wentworth is starting to give her a run for her money. It really bothers me when people get super butt hurt when against a better competitor.

I would be super worried that Kimmi, Abi, and Wentworth are able to take over the game if I were one of the others.

Holy fuck, Joe is so boring, he has to talk about his dad over and over and over.

Yup boring day after too, he's basically a male bimbo.

btw,
good job Spence, good job, the only highlight of that episode.

Yea, when he first came out and kissed joe, my wife is like, that's his mom? i'm like no, that's the dad, joes been emo about bringing dad along for FV. And shes like, but he kissed him, and it looks like a woman, i'm like yea, he really does look like an ugly woman, but it's a man, then "it" spoke and we were both confused.

Eh, different families show affection in different ways. Me, I'm not a hugger, let alone a kisser... but I do have friends where kissing (usually on the cheek) is a normal hi & good bye thing within their family. It didn't weird me out at all.

There are a group of players that I have immense respect for, but will probably never win the game. Joe is in that group. Boston Rob used to be in that group, but he finally won when they gave him a 3rd chance at the game and surrounded him with lemmings for tribe members. Being "too good to win" is a real thing. Joe might not be the greatest Survivor player ever, but he does have certain aspects of his game that would rival anyone.
