Yeah but his downfall could come at the hands of NBA douche. I don't think Tai is that naive necessarily, but if he gets played to use a super idol sometime after the merge he could go.

Tai is a tiny mini asian, he's like 5ft, great around camp, seems personable, is gay but not like all in your face about it. He'll never seem like a threat, b/c there are 10 immediate threats out there, he's gonna be a fucking darkhorse, and i'mma gonna ride him out to top 3, possibly winner!

Likability is always something people consider going into the finale and nobody is more likable than Tai.

Definitely true, but likeability vote-offs typically do not happen at merge time. That usually shifts the game directly into physical threat targets.

Calling it now, I see Tai going pretty deep.

Damned if they do and damned if they don't I felt. Thankfully the hottie survived this week.

So they drop their buffs and consolidate from three tribes to two for two immunity challenges, and then merge? Guess they really wanted to keep brawn around.

Yeah, the medical evacuation ramped up the timeline a bit.

I think the brains girl that flipped on Dr. Douche made a calculated decision, hoping that the merge was coming next. She seems way too smart to choose to go down 2 to 3 in the numbers, if they had to go to tribal again.

She's a fuckin' blogger and obviously has very minimal, realsocial skills. I think her voting Peter was an emotional decision, pure and simple. There was absolutely nothing calculated about it. It was written all over her body language at tribal.

Julia pulling Aubry aside and saying that Peter was talking to her privately about taking Aubry out was an extremely savvy play for an 18 year old. It also seems like it was probably the final "push" Aubry needed to swing the vote.

Who knows... but it doesn't take genius to know that there were going to be 11 people left in the game after that tribal. The last 4 games, merges have happened at 13, 12, 12, and 11. A 10-person merge hasn't happened since season 20, which is 12 games ago. Seems like they have given up on the 10-merge format.

Dr. Douche couldn't be trusted and they all knew that. Is he really on their side? For those three days he was but the next three days he could totally flip. I think they should have been talking to Julia more and brought her into the fold while plotting to get rid of Peter. Julia comes off as way more trustworthy than him and she was in a position to work with anyone who would give her the time of the day. They could easily still have had the numbers while still dumping Peter. Doesn't matter now since merge is next week.

Only a matter of time before everyone turns on Scott since he's the millionaire NBA player and "he's got to go!" Well I hope that is the case since it'll keep Tai around longer. There are some firewalls there for Tai that should keep him around for a few weeks longer. Joe has zero people skills, Debbie's adonis isn't long for this game, that redneck on the brawn team has zero people skills too, and of course Scott are all huge targets.

How would that even work out? Hey beauty girl, we voted out the other beauty cuz we hated her, but we like you, so come w/ us, don't go w/ your only friend in the world gay Tai!

Yeah, they played her well. She's super unconfident and they hit the right button with her. They also read that Joe (FBI guy) wouldn't flip.

The part I'm confused about is that they said "we should just switch to Julia; it'll go to a tie and they have the numbers." Uh? How is a 3-3 tie them having the numbers? Worst case scenario is you lose the person you might have voted out anyway.

And Scott might be safe in the same way a few other rich people have been. You take him because no one will vote for him to win at the final tribal.

Numbers are important but you aren't helping yourself going into a merge with somebody who is just going to flip on you anyway.

I am happy with the move just because Peter is a horrible combination of smug and a bad player so I didn't want him to make the merge.

Has it been brought up here that every time they put Debbie's name on the screen the profession is different, cycling through all 14 of her alleged professions? I think that is hilarious. In this episode they called her an "electronics expert".
Yes, and last night they had "Part Time Model" up there when she was going on about how she has modeled on and off for years. I laughed at that one.

I actually laughed out loud when this came on screen this time around. I hadn't noticed it before Brutul mentioned it, but now I find it hilarious! Such a subtle dig by the producers. Well done!
