nice, I think Google Music was maybe the last significant Google service that didn't have an iOS app yet. I have to believe that Apple/iTunes had a lot to do with that.

Will a Surface Pro 2 actually be able to play much? It seems like being so small heat and or gpu power might be an issue.

It's supposed to have a 50% boost in graphics and the original Surface Pro can play things passably well, so yeah it should be fine. Just don't expect it to perform like a dedicated gaming desktop would.

What would you expect it to run?

I really like the Surface 2, generally I don't have to actively stop myself from buying expensive things but man I want it pretty bad. Next year I keep telling myself, you just built a brand new desktop.

Also, for someone interested in a Macbook Air alternative, the new Asus Zenbooks look pretty awesome, should be out before the end of the year.

Was thinking on waiting until November for the Fire HDX 7'' seems legit, especially since I've already got Prime. I really would rather a Nexus 7'' with that Google Now App etc, but Verizon's skirting the FCC....


Would I have issues with the 4G LTE after rooting the device to get access to Google Now? Not sure if rooting it will be a nuisance down the road...If Verizon wasn't cock blocking the fucking Nexus. Who cock blocks google? A fucking company that doesn't what the fuck they're doing I'd say...Maybe I ought to consider abandoning Verizon Wireless all together.

Would the Surface 2 be viable for school work (essays and shit), internet shenanigans, and streaming?

My laptop for some reason runs like pure shit, and its really pissing me off that it freezes for a moment when opening Word and watching videos online.

Would rather have something way lighter and mobile.

Just got my Mom a Nexus 10 after her Acer A500's power button crapped out for a second time.

It is an amazing machine. With a nice poetic case and some battery life tweaking the 72 year old broad is causing a rukus on facebook again, and embarrassing the shit out of me and my sisters.

We live in an amazing age.

I love my Surface Pro 1 and the 2 is only better.
