Again (again, again, again), censorship isn't inherently harmful. I'm not losing any sleep over the fact that some asshole troll had one of his 50 burner Twitter accounts banned because he was acting like a piece of shit. if you can't play by the rules of a social platform, you're going to face consequences. Literally the most controversial thing Sarkeesian has ever said is that the way women are portrayed in video games can have an effect on how people treat women in real life. She backed this up with a scientific study that, although some people don't like the conclusions she drew from it, was entirely valid.

She never made a single statement denying biology as far as I know. She never made a single statement arguing for censorship, as far as I know. She never called for government control, never claimed scientific facts were bullshit, and never claimed gamers or developers were bad people. So what harm has she caused? So far, you've shown NONE.

How would her talking about biology change anything? She's not a biologist or a doctor. She concerns herself with issues that women face and she took a critical look at how women are portrayed in video games and how that affects women in real life. None of that is harmful. NONE OF IT.
