I personally don't care if he's forced to sell the team. From what I've read, he took great pleasure in being seen around the team and as the guy who ran the team, and the sanctions take that away. Just be happy the old bastard got what he's had coming for 20+ years. He'll fade away and die, his kids (and ex?) will cash in, life will go on.

As far as how he was outed (this time around), I really don't like it. Having some whore record a private conversation and leak it is bad form and lousy precedent. TMZ should never look like a hero. So I'm happy he's getting the punishment he's deserved for decades, but it's a shame how it happened.

you know exactly why. Same reason why people cared about chick-fil-a guy hating gays, and firefox guy hating gays, and everyone hates gays.

plus NBA is a profit sharing model and while I doubt you'd see major protests and blowback, revenue for one team effects everyone.

Any new owner has to be voted and approved by the other 29 owners and I don't think they are going to want any family member of his owning the team, probably for that reason.

That's an awful article, nothing will change for the most part until the older generation dies off. guys like sterling or bundy or whatever who use non politically correct language and thought patterns are 70+ years old, you aren't changing anything that late in the game. Polls show that the younger generation have difference attitudes.
