we had to shut down a full production line of a pharma plant because some maintenance guy forgot to remove the protection plastic inside a new pump when installing it. The first sanitization with steam melted the plastic and spread it everywhere in the pipes, filters, valves, sensors, etc.

I can't judge, I replaced my garbage disposal and it kept the dishwasher from draining. NOWHERE in the entire manual did it mention a plastic piece blocking the drainage side. I had to watch a youtube video =\
