Ohh I AM going, was just curious if anyone in the area wanted to meet up.Even if you don't have anyone to go with, just go anyways and make friends. I was there for a couple days a few years ago and it's just a plain awesome time, and everyone is super friendly.
Those two are among my very favorite wheats. The Snapshot that I remember was ok. I was grabbing something from the closest grocery store to me and the selection was meh.Wheat beers aren't a thing I drink unless it's Franziskaner or Weihenstephaner.
I hadn't tried it until the Tour de Fat, and it was just tart enough that I enjoyed it but not enough where I couldn't recommend it to others. Is anyone familiar with New Belgium's Snapshot? I would almost swear they've changed it. I bought some yesterday and I don't remember it being anywhere near as tart when I tried it last summer.
"...independent breweries are forever fighting Big Beer's considerable lobbying and distribution clout: "To this day they actively try to kill our industry..."
...a local operation with access to AB's capital disrupts the brewing ecosystem. Fremont has one of the largest barrel-aging programs in the Northwest, he says, and now Goose Island has the financial firepower to buy up every barrel in sight, making it hard for his guys to find any. He fears Elysian will do the same thing with hops.
Had some of this on Saturday and it was indeed quality. Nice oak aftertaste.I have not tried that one. But the Rodenbach Grand Cru is quite good.
