Can I snag this anywhere? Will give it a shot next weekend.
Around here I've seen it at both Whole Foods and World Market. A couple of other grocery stores carry it as well but they are supplied by local distributors and their selection varies from store to store.

BTW the Dogfish 120 is the most potent beer I have tried. Two of them knocked me on my ass. Like I went nighty night in like an hour. VERY rough taste.
Shouldn't be too hard to find in California. Really have no idea what their distribution is like out side of the state. Maybe order through total wine or bevmo?

You're supposed to let the 120 minute mellow out over time. Unlike most IPAs because it's 17-18% alcohol it won't lose it's flavor if you lay it down for a year. Probably will still be pretty hot no matter what though.

OUCH!

Russian River Brewing Company

Since Pliny the Younger will not be ready in time for SF Beer Week this year, we are bringing something extra special to the Opening Gala on January 22nd! If you have never tried unblended Lambic or spontaneously fermented beer before carbonation, stop by our booth for a taste of 28 month old "Sonambic"! Cheers!

Preservation Societyjust opened up for The Bruery, I've missed openings in the past, so really glad to have made it in this time. Actually, the wife got it for me as a Christmas gift.

The Bruery Preservation Society is a quarterly beer club for those who love our beer. Each quarter, members will receive a package of three different, exclusive and limited release beers for at least 10% off the retail value.

A quarterly package typically includes the following three selections:
1. One barrel-aged beer from The Bruery.
2. One sour barrel-aged beer from Bruery Terreux.
3. One limited, experimental beer.

Preservation Society members also receive access to special sales throughout the year. Plus, each fall, Preservation Society members are extended the opportunity to join our Reserve Society.

The Preservation Society is the perfect answer for any level of craft beer lover. Commitment free and curated by our own staff, just sign up, sit back and enjoy the limited release beers that come your way without any worry about us selling out before you can make it down to our Tasting Room. You can cancel at any time, but we doubt that you'll want to!

Each quarter's beer will be shipped and/or ready to be picked near the beginning of each new quarter (April, July, October) and mid-December for Q4.

How about some Kate the Great?

Also, Darkness didn't start out as fancy or expensive, and to us in the parts of the country that can't get it, all Russian River beers are exactly the same as that.

Not sure if anyone commented yet, but the Bourbon County Coffee and Barleywine are infected this year. ABInbev/GI is offering refunds if you have the batch number/dates on them (and a free tshirt). I haven't called to get the refund yet, but I'm drinking the barleywine right now (literally), and there's a strong sour cherry taste from it. It's certainly infected, and while it's not bad for a mediocre strong sour, it's shit compared to the 2014 BC BW.

Also the BA Abyss is dropping outside of Oregon... quite a few MN stores got "a few bottles" that have been procured.

I was at Whole Foods earlier today and lo and behold they had one of if not my very favorite back in stock. It's been well over a year maybe even two since I've been able to get my hands on it, even trying online. God how I've missed that Jolly Pumpkin funk.
