If we are just talking the alcoholic factor, for just the alcohol content a $9.99 six-pack of 12oz bottles/cans of 7.0% ABV IPA is cheaper than a $5.99 six-pack of 16oz tallboys of 4.6% ABV Rainier.Plus it's less painful on the wallet since we are summer alcoholics.
IPAs are a terrible river beer, It's about quantity, not quality. If we are just talking the alcoholic factor, for just the alcohol content a $9.99 six-pack of 12oz bottles/cans of 7.0% ABV IPA is cheaper than a $5.99 six-pack of 16oz tallboys of 4.6% ABV Rainier.

Not when you are having a 15ish mile bike ride home, gotta stay somewhat sober.IPAs are the best river beer!
I love my IPA's but on a river, lake or golf course I need something light.EDIT: Session IPAs are the best river beer!
I can't drink when I golf. I went golfing today for the fourth time this year, was having a great round on the front too. Shot a 39 and then....Oh man, I golf WAY better with a few IPAs in me, or do I just think I golf better... either way, it works for me.
