ah so no difference really. I'll just take advantage of the B2G1 deal tuesday. Problem is I want Knack and Killzone but the wife thinks Just Dance would be fun for hear and the kids... sigh.. Maybe I'll do Killzone and AC4 for me and Just Dance for her.

Can't decide between AC4 and BF4 but I think AC4 would be more playable on console as opposed to BF4.

Yes, at least that's how it's supposed to work. The issue, however, seems to be that the code is not invalidated once you cancel that original pre-order. So you got the B2G1 code, then cancel the initial pre-order, and you can still use the code -- making it effectively a B1G1 deal. For me at least, the email also said that I had pre-ordered a PS4 game and that's why I got the code... it didn't mention pre-ordering a launch title. That's surely what they meant, but one could argue with CS over it.

They may go ahead and bill the full amount after the smoke clears, but I doubt that's going to happen. I think it'll be like the Chromecast and the Netflix trial... with the latter, they send promotional codes long after they took any mention of it off the product page.

I got my code after I cancelled my pre-order and used it on two different games. Whether or not you had to buy the original I don't know, but it went through fine. The fact that it came 7 hours after I cancelled my pre-order lead me to believe they didn't care.

I know I'll get hated on and I'm sure his life was hard but to me it just sounded like excuse after excuse after excuse. Good on him for what he's achieved but he makes out like his whole life was one massive struggle only focusing on the negatives except for maybe 30 seconds.

Fuck he even had the chance to go to college and blames flunking out on a break up. Bullshit. Most likely scenario is he was lazy as shit and didn't want to be there. Which is ok but instead of accepting that he looks to point the finger. Yeah maybe I'm an asshole but I'm just saying..

I've had the collector's edition of AC4 ordered from amazon for the last 10 days, didn't get a B1G1 code... Don't want to cancel my pre-order and risk not being able to rebuy the collector's edition.

Sorry for the further derail, but yeah, I personally think you're right. But, like, I think that's also part of his problem, as in, part of his mental issues. I've seen it before. I see it as people who actually suffer from genuine depression already being ruled by their emotions, making them unable to look objectively at their situation, and so they end up having this victim mentality. That's what I find sad about the situation he's in, which was essentially roadblocked by the inability to help himself at some point in his life, and so he's just stuck in that same rut, and has this unconquerable feeling that he's literally unable to help himself out of it, which is really not the case. But ah well, his life at this point ain't THAT bad, if only for the fact that it'll probably be stymied by his health issues, chief among which is his weight.

Completely understand and agree but I just struggle to feel sorry for someone who has enough opportunity to not be the victim. His weight issues are purely due to lazyness and no discipline. People have lost HUGE amounts of weight just eating healthily. So if he can't excercise he can still lose all the unhealthy weight he has gained.

Look I get it everyone has problems and life is harder for some then others but as I said I struggle to feel sorry for someone that CHOOSES to play the victim even when their life is actually pretty good. He has fiance and makes a living of youtube. Life is OK.
