Let's be real though for a second. If you just don't dig racing and sports games and the corridor shooters like Call of Doge and/or the new Battlefield, what other free game was there to pick besides Knack?

None really, unfortunately. I guess Injustice or Lego Marvel? Not really a fighting games fan though. Lego Marvel sounds like it might be fun, but it'll probably end up on PS+ too. I'd have taken MLB The Show in a heartbeat, FUCK YOU BASEBALL AND SPRING. Not a huge sports fan, but I think I could get into that a lot easier than Fifa or Madden.

People on Neogaf are getting December 26th for estimated shipping dates on NFS Rivals now, so yeah, fuck that.

Yeah Injustice which didn't get great reviews I thought (not a fighting fan either) or a lego game that's literally 30 dollars on PC and will look better and will eventually be like 3 dollars on a steam sale by summer just aren't appealing to me. I mean. I keep looking at Amazon thinking about doing another buy 2 get 1 free with COD BF and probably that lego game but I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger.

I just don't care if knack is great or mediocre or shit, I guess.

If worse comes to worse I'm sure my kids will play it some.

Injustice is a good game and is pretty easy to get into. If you don't like fighters I wouldn't bother with it but if you do you should pick it up. I doubt it'll be a graphical upgrade from the PS3/Xbox 360 versions though so you might as well wait around till Black Friday and pick it up on the cheap for one of those systems.

Some new stuff to (hopefully) get excited about looks to be revealed on Thursday at the PS4 Launch Party thing in NYC.According to IGN, at least one new game will be revealed and more footage and info on other upcoming games (The Order, Second Son) will be shown.

And Naughty Dog will be at the event. Supposedly just to show off a trailer of new DLC for The Last of Us, but rumor is they may be unveiling that it's coming to the PS4. What with it being a PS4 party and all.

Looks ok. My biggest beef with the PS3 one was its being slow as molasses in winter. Probably one of my biggest beefs compared to the 360.

Considering this is the same studio that put out Puppeteer you'd think the graphics would be mind blowing on a next gen system but they are really just bland. Trust me you will be unimpressed.

That's how you implement an always on policy. You don't force it on a consumer (hello MS!) but if they decide to go with it then they can reap a benefit from participating.
