Yeah it's a big success that I haven't heard of any problems with the xbox one's network service. The PS4 wasn't as good but still had good service. The 'nobody was using it is why' is a good joke but it's not a true one.

Anyone have sales #s for Black Friday sales or PS4 sales in Europe?

Xbox didn't release across the EU and Aus last night. But xbox has always had a stronger online infrastructure that's not even remotely in question.

Right after I posted earlier to Ut, I was able to log in and redeem the codes though so it's all good.

How can you tell if the code worked? every time I enter it it just kicks me back to the main screen, without any messages.

check transaction history or transaction management and if it worked it'll show a 0.00 dollar purchase today and you can like click that it'll tell you its a 1 year PS+ subscription

Apparently they had a 300K allotment for the UK alone and it's pretty much gone already.

ya, just switched to the website instead of the PSN store from the PS4. Not there. Gonna try and redeem it via the website now


EDIT which it says: This Prepaid Card cannot be redeemed on a PC

Yeah the amazon cards need to be redeemed on a console or something they're bugged I had to redeem mine on ps4 but if you redeem it on ps4, then you can check if it successfully went through from the transaction history page on your browser.

There might be lag time for it to show up I dunno.

The 1 million in a week is US only.

Your link XXEXX is worldwide, his link is US only. Worldwide Sony just released the PS4 in EU and Australia so no clue but I imagine its selling well in the EU

Sony's first release that sold 1 million in 24 hours was "North America Only" (USA, Canada & Mexico). This 2nd release is "Europe & Australia Only". People are expecting another million consoles to sell this release, but that possible million won't add to the North America totals for the contest.

The funny thing is that Sony would have sold way more PS4 if they weren't sold out fucking everywhere. Released this morning in France and already shops are telling new pre-orders that they won't get it before January (and more toward the end of January even).
