some people have had problems with the way win8 is formatting big usb sticks, try an older PC, use a third party format program, boot into hiren bootOS and format in there, or use a smaller usb stick. I used a 4gb usb stick with windows 8.1 no problems changing my ps4 drive to a hybrid 1tb drive

make sure you have sync'd all your savegames to PS+ (due to PSN outages the last 2 days) and remember you'll have to go back into the psn store and find the games you used to have and re-install them from there, for the digital ones anyways.

So I picked up one of those PS+ 12 month cards at Best Buy while they were on sale, but I go to redeem it on Sony's website and says this Pre-paid card can not be redeemed on a PC.

So I don't have to own a Ps3 to take advantage of free shit on Ps+, but I have to activate my membership through one?

You're retarded. Spending $35, and being able to tag all the free games more than makes up for the cost of the subscription. I'll eventually have a a ps3 and ps4 both to take advantage of all the games.

It's less about competition and more about the knowledge of how good one is with a KBM and how much higher the skillcap is with a KBM.
